I would rate this place 10 stars! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this place is it. We tried several things on the menu that were recommended by our server, Miguel, and it was so delicious that we all overate! Miguel was so kind and helpful! He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. You’re missing out if you don’t eat here!

There are many modern meanings for the word Chilango. In the 70s my father told us that it meant “person who came to see the sea” so those in the coast called people from the center or capital of Mexico Chilangos. At this restaurant the ambiance is awesome! The music was just like in Ciudad de Mexico. The noise was moderate and we were able to enjoy the music and have a conversation. There were two waiters. The service was friendly and courteous but they need help. I don’t know what the hold up was. The food took a looooooong time ( they lost a star) and although my enfrijoladas were cold all the food was really good.

The Best Place to eat Mexican food. Miguel Ángel was our server and he did a fantastic job in serving and tending to us. Super polite and professional. We loved the music that was playing while we ate. We even had nostalgic conversations with Miguel Angel. We connected with the great music and fantastic food. We even ate there two days in a row. I had the chicken enchiladas one day and the huarache de asada the next day. The chocolate abuelita was amazing and so is the cafe de olla. Everything was made fresh and tasted just like home. For dessert we had the cold arroz con leche, the plátanos fritos and the strawberry cheesecake. DELICIOSO!!! We will definitely be back soon.

We had Miguel Angel and he was amazing. Best service we have had. The food was delicious, affordable, and plentiful. I will highly recommend! We are only in town for a few days and I hope to come back! (I had already taken a bite out of the taco before I took the pic.)

I have been looking for chilango restaurants with excellent food, and this place is definitely one of my new top favorites!! We drove from Murrieta to Anaheim to try this place out, and it definitely did not disappoint. All the food was very freshly made. We were served a complimentary cup of sopita de fideo, and the broth was excellently savory, with the fideo nicely cooked. Then we received our order of chips and guacamole, which was also well prepared. The guacamole was served in a molcajete, which was something new for me. Then our food came in, and wow was it delicious!! Our party ordered chilaquiles, chilaquiles chilango, a pambazo, tacos dorados, and a huarache. I personally ordered the huarache, and it was clearly handmade and prepared fresh. The beans were probably the best I've ever eaten, and the steak was seasoned perfectly. Eating the food with horchata was so delicious!! Everyone got full with their dishes. I would highly recommend this place. It serves authentic chilango food (with some exclusive dishes from D.F.), and has wonderful customer service. I would definitely go back again if I'm in the Anaheim area!! Added bonus: it’s by Disneyland!!
