We were here for an event recently. The kids were playing all over the grounds near the arena. Imagine our surprise when they came back covered in fleas! We pulled 30 out of my daughter's hair alone. It was horrifying the number found on each kid. They never went into the woods, this was all around the bleachers. Needless to say, we will be avoiding events here in the future.

This place is a piece of heaven in the middle of Sacramento. They were founded in 1942 and hold a rich history of this area. Many people have fond memories of riding there as children and growing up with this a part of their lives. It is well kept and they have a lot to offer. Another little gem of information is if you need some garden gold (composted manure) for your garden this year you can pick some up for free! I picked up a good sized load for my garden and it was beautiful!

Went here for a really beautiful wedding and the building definitely has the old western country feel. Definitely worth a look into if your planning a small to medium sized event where you want the knotty pine barn look plus you would be supporting a good organization in doing so.

Did a wedding here this past weekend. They have some kinks in their system that they seem to be working on. Communication was my biggest issue. But its a cute venue for a good price.
