(Tickets and wait times) 5/5 Me and my girlfriend had gone on Halloween night. We had the diamond VIP. We had about a 5-10 minute wait times and was quick but not easy since it was not direct where to go for which tickets unless you asked the employees there. PRICE :(183.27) (Staff and Security) 4/5 Firm but fair, the security did their job well applying the rules and keeping everyone safe. The security might come off stern but not rude. Some people took it personal making it awkward and treating the security like crap. The employees at the Merch stand were bubbly and kind women. The Ticket stand had people that were firm but fair since a lot of people seemed to be confused about how the tickets worked so just firm to make sure no miscommunication. The likes had people allowing people to enter the lines and direct the lines they seemed like they were doing there job and focused. (The scare actors )3.5/5 The scare actors had application makeup and contact lenses. Not the ones you see in the videos of Fx masks and prosthetic makeup. They had hand help props. The place had 80% animatronics but not enough actors. They had about 4-5 actors and it seemed to not be enough comparing to the size the of the place being huge. Sometimes the scare actors would be clumped together and it happens once in a while. The animatronics did look very cool but the sensor would of course delay but still very cool animatronics. The actors scaring tactics were from Great, good and oh okay. Overall their scares were 3.5/5. My feedback for this would be better prosthetic makeups like the Ad and hand help props that make noises to be more interactive. The actors did not touch me but it seemed like this varies of experience from seeing the reviews. The business did seem to false advertise how scary the costumes would be, so me and my partner were let down by that aspect. (The overall aesthetics in and out the haunt)5/5 Very cool animatronics , paintings, props inside to see and super gory no smell tho like HHN haunts. Had cool 12 ft monsters to take photos with and a clown girl to take photos on the bench with. Good photo opportunities. Scary music and fog would go off while in line Things you might run into that doesn’t affect the rating but might happen to you lol - slightly over priced or very overpriced food from the food trucks - The food around the area looks like it sucks, because of the ratings and reviews all are 2-stars - People being rude to the security and being entitled -Religious protests happening on the curb right outside the haunt hearing it the whole night
1st, i want to say that the 2 hour line is part of the experience, so my advice is to make it more fun for the people in the line by adding more roaming ghoulies. 2nd, it would be nice if you had some seats in the line, not everyone has the same level of fitness, plus i saw some teens wearing boots who were in pain. 3rd, maybe we can deploy some heaters since it is very cold. These comments are just my opinions to improve overall experience and opinions vary. While i didn't get scared, it's not your fault as i don't scare easy but a few people in my group were very scared and i enjoyed hearing them scream.
I come every year and it never disappoints! I love the highly detailed sets, the theatrical light and sound design, and the well placed actors. I wish they had more live actors who you can interact with but they put a lot of planning into triggered animations that can give you a good scare. I guess since there are so many animatronics, you get startled by REAL people. This is a very intense and graphic haunt, so I would discourage younger kids who don’t watch slasher films and anyone with a “sensitive“ nature. I appreciate that they try to space out each group. Walking alone in these sets even without actors is super creepy. They technically have 4 attractions but only one entry point. As you finish the one, they queue you for the next one, maintaining spacing between groups as they enter each maze, even if they bunch up during the walk through. The “scream park” is just the attraction in a permanent building site (good if it’s raining) and the adjacent mall parking lot. Good for free, ample parking…bad for party vibes. There are couple of food trucks, a merch and photo stand, one vendor selling themed items from their merchandise van, and porta-potties. Not much atmosphere. So once you’re done with the haunt, there’s not much reason to hang around. I was there late on a weekday early in October, so my wait time was surprisingly short (15 minutes). But I have been here on a weekend and spent over an hour standing in line in a parking lot, next to port-a-potties. Overall a great haunt for someone looking to step up the fear factor or who appreciates show design.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was it could have been a little bit scarier, but I am also not easy to scare. The layout of the haunted houses is great, the themes are fantastic, it is worth the money IMO
It great. Awesome experience with our littles. Definitely received some good scares. All hunts were well set up perfectly. Kids cat wait till next year!
