This place makes it hard for job seekers. A lot of us don't have the time or resources for them to continuously request documents or information from us that will take days to obtain. On top of that many of the employees lack experience. It is a very awkward feeling and environment in the building. They should really think about putting some background music in there.
This place is in a former car dealership and your gps directions might seem confusing when you arrive because their signs are small. I felt like it was clean, friendly enough staff, and easy to walk in for a free typing test.
They moved at the beginning of July, they haven't bothered to update any of their information. They insist on getting the last four digits of your social just to proctor a typing test which I find ridiculous. I understand that you have government funding, however security is an issue and they can't even provide proof of security for that information. Staff are aloof and unhelpful.
I'm actually here right now and felt that an individuals she is staff member her comments were inappropriate rude and discouraged to get the resources that I needed.... It was unprofessional and if you are serious about getting your needs being met to not come to 7000 Franklin avenue. I've been here since I was a teenager! I always believed in helpful personal but I will now strongly encourage others not to come to this area nor enable for the disrespect! I believe her name is Ann! Glasses and a bad sunburn
This place is the best for ANYONE of ANY AGE looking for a job in the Sacramento area. They have openings and connects with departments and businesses all over, provide job training, and job tools to help you get places in this world. I use to work with Kathy Yang but Choua Yang and Te Her are awesome as well. Very nice people and will always help, even if your not involved with their services any longer.
