I’ve attended several events with Barbie, Catalina and other staff at Sacred Society. The level of care, intention, and detail put into each event was inspiring. Each experience was incredible and I look forward to attending future events!
I had a disappointing experience at Secret Society this morning. I came in with a voucher I received at an event held at this location, hoping to redeem it for a free latte for my fiancé. There was no expiration date listed on the voucher, but the employee at the counter told me it was expired and refused to honor it. Policies or not, the staff was rude and dismissive, and the customer service was pretty bad. This place is overpriced and not worth visiting. I ended up walking a couple of blocks to Coffeegraph instead and had a great experience. I don’t drink coffee myself and was confused by the order my fiancé texted me, but the baristas were very helpful and friendly. They made sense of the order and my fiancé loved the coffee. I’d highly recommend Coffeegraph.
(continued...) Everything there was related to various aspects of what is offered at Sacred Society to bring a bit of SS home with you and a sweet reminder of your experience. I spent several minutes speaking with Catalina, the manager, to learn more about SS and their vision and goals. I was very impressed with their dedication to using natural scents and not synthetics, as well as their responsiveness to adjusting their use of any natural materials with endangered or near-threatened conservation status. SS offers sound bathing and red light therapy, and offers sessions on breathwork and guided meditation. It was clear from each person I spoke to at SS that their mission, vision and goals are very client-centered and with an eye to detail and ethics. I so badly want this place to succeed and grow! In a world where loneliness has become an epidemic and mental health and well-being are suffering greatly, Sacred Society offers an oasis for respite and recovery.
What a wonderful experience! Audrey reached out to personally invite me to check out the space and try Red Light Therapy, Immersive Multisensory VR and Vibroacoustic Therapy. I ended up doing a breath and sound journey with Brookelin which my nervous system needed. The energy in the room was great and the cozy decor really set the stage. I enjoyed a matcha and homemade items from the bakery. The food was really tasty! The vibes were calming and they had immersive activities to do on your own in the common space to celebrate dios de Los muertes. Highly recommend and will be back! Thank you to this great community of people!
