I went to school at Sage Trucking School in Fort Pierce 5/2025. I graduated and passed my Class A CDL course 7/25/2025. It was a great experience from the beginning. I worked with Lizette and Johanna to get into the course. They walked me through step by step. Next I met the in class instructor Bo!! He was one of a kind. His trucking stories and knowledge was great. Then I met Steve Ament (military) and he was straight forward with me. He pours his heart into making sure you learn things the right way. He taught me to parallel park a 18 wheeler in one day. I learned my pre trip and air brakes from him during my observation hours. Carlos taught me to be the back up Queen. His backing up skills were outstanding. He helped me simplify my pre trip inspection as well. The team included Rudy, Gee, Steve (British). To top it off I did my testing with Eric. He is a serious guy when testing. He will not crack a smile. After my test I found him to be the funniest and most loving of all. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to further their driving career. This is an excellent team that cares about safety first! I’ve had my CDL permit for less than a week. I’ve had 2 interviews and 1 job offer!! Always remember…When times get hard or your back is against the wall, keep on trucking!
I had a great experience at Sage. Steve A., Steve Y, Carlos, Rudy, G and Joe are all great instructors. They are there talking you through what you need to know, while allowing you to learn at your own pace. Lanny in the classroom is the best at guiding you through the classroom material. Lisette and Johanna were amazing, and had me through the program in a great time frame. This is a great program. The staff and instructors are professionals who really care about your success. I would highly recommend Sage to anyone thinking about obtaining their CDL.
Great school! The instructors are knowledgeable and patient. Steve A, Steve Y, Carlos were a great help to me on the range. Always willing to explain, answer questions. Liz and Johanna were helpful with all the paperwork. When test day arrived I was confident that I would pass. Thank you!!!! Ready for the next chapter in my career.

Little scary at first then with enough practice everything they're teaching you becomes clear. Only problem I have is that all the instructors need to be on the same page
