As a fledgling organization working to build strong visibility of ourselves and our work in Native American communities for narrative change, we found Jonathan Hatch, owner of St. Paul Media. After several attempts of letter writing to other organizations, I had high hopes of finding just the right media company who understood our needs. Answering the call was Jonathan from St. Paul Media. With his reply, we knew immediately that our search was over. His answer was an invitation, “to further discuss the logistics of a project like this”. He said that he is always willing to offer his time consulting as a gift. “No charge for thoughts and ideas.” This is beyond generosity, this is a passion and caring for the all communities across our state. We were impressed with the organized and detailed planning that ensued to make an overwhelming job manageable and a final product that was beyond expectations.

Working with SPM has been incredible. This small but mighty team is there with you every step of the way to understand exactly what you need and deliver and above and beyond anything you could have imagined! Not only is their work impressive, but each person is a joy to work with and I'll miss seeing them all the time now that this project is over. Thank you Tasha, Jonathan, and Julianne for building one hell of a website for RainbowHealth.org!

We were extremely happy with St. Paul Media's work in designing and developing our new website, and we recommend them without reservation. One of the greatest strengths St. Paul Media (SPM) brings to the table is their staff, which we found to be highly knowledgeable, competent, creative, responsive, and up to date with the latest in the field of website design and SEO. We had full confidence in their recommendations, guidance, and design solutions throughout the process. Moreover, they were simply a delight to work with - extremely personable with just the right mix of business and humor to be excellent working partners for a long-term project such as this. I can’t stress enough the importance of a good working relationship for a website redesign, and we definitely experienced this with SPM. In addition, their staff members have an excellent working relationship as well: they respect and trust each other, so they’re also able to question each other, test out different ideas, and work through issues in a very collaborative way. Their other very notable strength is their outstanding design process. It is very detailed and well laid out, so the client has a solid grasp on how things will work and where they are in the process, but it’s also flexible enough to deal with issues that arise along the way. This process enables SPM to arrive at a very good understanding of the organization (which of course is key to the design and development of a website that works well for the client), manage relationships and input from multiple stakeholders, test design elements and make modifications along the way, and carry out complex projects with lots of moving parts. And finally, now that our main website has been built, I'm finding their tech support to be top-notch as well. We enjoyed working with SPM so much that we almost immediately hired them again to work with us on a new microsite project with multiple external stakeholders and content curators. The process is going great. High marks for St. Paul Media!

Saint Paul Media was exceptional to work with! At Global Minnesota, we greatly valued their thoughtful approach to our website redesign, which balanced aesthetics with functionality. Saint Paul Media uses a well curated process, which helped us organize and present information to better reach end users on a variety of platforms. And they brought to the table a wealth of knowledge to ensure our project met organizational goals and budgets as well as the technological demands of the online world. We’ve been extremely pleased with our new website and continue to receive positive feedback on it.

When it comes time to refresh – or, in Propel Nonprofits’ case, to merge – websites, the task can be daunting. That is why it is so critical to find a true partner in the process, which is exactly what Saint Paul Media was for us. All of our discussions – from how people enter our site to what paths they could follow in the site to the personas of our primary clients – all were part of Saint Paul Media’s site mapping used to create an intuitive, user-focused website. They were collaborative in challenging us to look at the site with a fresh perspective as opposed to just repackaging the content from the two sites. Jonathan and Tasha were with us every step of the way from the initial brainstorming to the design and launch. Not only were they valuable when it came to web design and usability, but in helping us incorporate our new brand into many online resources – and all on a tight timeline. They continue to be critical and trusted partners as we look at ways to keep the site current, relevant, and responsive. Saint Paul Media is with us for the long haul, and we are excited and relieved that they are. And it should be noted we managed to do this immense and intense project with some laughter and camaraderie that made the project more enjoyable. The staff that were involved with developing personas, reviewing design concepts, and testing the site looked forward to the meetings with Saint Paul Media, saying how energized they were by them. And as we all know, energized is not the typical word we hear our peers use when describing meetings!
