The Saruku on Springfield Ave is better. Also customer service isn’t good. Their spicy mayo tastes weird and they don’t have spicy teriyaki.

We had a really disappointing experience with Sakura Japan on W. Market St. We accidentally placed an order at this location by mistake, and when we called immediately to explain the situation, the staff refused to offer any kind of refund or solution. Instead of trying to help, they were rude on the phone and actually hung up on us. Mistakes happen, but the complete lack of customer service and basic courtesy was shocking. We won’t be ordering from this location!

Don’t order at this place the people are rude and disrespectful! I order at the wrong location during my lunch hour and the website said if I need help to call and when I did the first lady hung up on me and the second said he can’t help me even though I called less than 5 minutes after my order was placed when I realized I ordered from the wrong place. People shouldn’t be treated like that over a misunderstanding. If they can’t cancel it the website should say that but it says to call only for you not to be able to get help anyway. The staff was so rude and disgusting.

The food quality was very poor. After finishing our meal, we noticed a dead rat on the floor of the restaurant. Later that night, I became very sick. This experience was extremely disturbing and unacceptable. The cleanliness and food safety are very concerning. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!
