I went to Salon RayBon thinking I was treating myself… turns out I was just volunteering to be scammed. I have super fine, thin hair — meaning literally ANY highlight should show up. Yet after almost $500 (yes, FIVE. HUNDRED.), a rushed under-one-hour appointment, and a whole lot of attitude, my hair looked exactly the same. I didn’t even get subtle highlights… I got imaginary ones. And let’s talk about the location. Rough doesn’t even begin to describe it. I’ve seen nicer vibes in parking lots. Inside wasn’t much better — the energy was weird, uncomfortable, and honestly gave “we stopped caring years ago” vibes. The décor said “salon,” but the service said “don’t expect anything from us.” The owner? Whew. The level of not caring could’ve been a world record. She gave me the type of look like my wallet had more value to her than my entire presence. Zero warmth, zero professionalism, zero effort — but apparently maximum prices. The only thing that got “lifted” in that salon was my money. I’ve been to ACTUAL luxury salons. Clean places. Professional people. Salons where you’re greeted, treated well, and you walk out feeling amazing. And those places charge LESS than whatever this establishment thinks it’s serving. The delusion is strong. The whole experience felt rushed, dismissive, and borderline insulting. I left wondering if I should file a missing persons report for my $500 because it disappeared and gave me NOTHING in return. In all seriousness, this place is wildly overpriced, unprofessional, and absolutely not worth your time or money. I would never recommend it. Go somewhere that actually knows hair, respects clients, and doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. This salon should not be operating like this — and definitely not charging luxury prices for results you need a microscope to find.

I got a haircut with Hollyn! She is so sweet and was gentle when doing my trim. She made sure to explain everything as well before starting to cut. I'm looking forward to seeing her again.

Beautifull, calming atmosphere. The staff was great and my stylist, Mary, was absolutely amazing! She listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations!Thank you Mary, and Salon Raybon! You guys were wonderfull!

Mary was great at making sure my daughter was completely comfortable with the cut and style she picked. She talked through things with her and they came up with a plan together. The end result was exactly what my daughter wanted. Thanks Mary for making my girl feel so comfortable with such a bold change. We so appreciate your expertise!

The salon has a great vibe, cute interior. It’s relaxing and the coffee/tea bar are sweet! Receptionist was super sweet! However top rating goes to my hair care lady for years now, Emily! No more gray! I had no transportation today, of all days. It took me 4 drivers and vehicles to get me there and back! LOL. No matter where you work I’ll find my way there. Thank you to my husband, sister and 2 nieces to get me to/from my appt. Thank you Emily for another awesome color, cut and style! -Angella
