Wait 20 mins for a fresh pizza to come out or get a reheated slice (base is a bit hard). It’s ok.

I’m from New York living in Sydney for over 30 years. I’ve been waiting years for a New York Slice of pizza and now Sals is the go to.. it taste just like from NY. Sals proves the pizza is better in New York is not because of the water! It’s because of his craft!

Fear not when you see the pizzas getting reheated. My goodness, they tasted as if they were fresh out of the oven after a quick revival. I think it is best eaten at the joint, not takeaway. The pepperoni is a must. This was honestly the best NY style pizza I’ve ever eaten in Australia. Cheese sticks are also freshly fried and delicious. Can’t wait to come back again to try the other pizzas!

Was an ok experience. Pizza slices were old and re heated so the crust was very hard. Pizza sauce was nice and toppings weren’t bad. Garlic knots were just very doughy, minimal garlic, dry definitely have had better. Ranch sauce was horrible! $2.50 for a small tub of watered down sauce. Definitely is not ranch sauce, had no flavour at all. Don’t reccomend! Overall wouldn’t go back.

Happy we walked here. The restaurant was busy at 7pm Sunday night. We shared the special for $19 you get two slices of pizza and two knots with a can of soda. If you like thin crust pizza with lots of flavor, this place is for you. By the slice or the whole pie is offered. We tried the Hawaiian and Brooklyn. Excellent!! My husband had the knots, he liked them. I wish they had salad. Also wings are offered. We would definitely go back.
