We had a blast on our Saltwater Excursions’ fishing charter in late August. Captain Kelly and deckhand Brian made a group of city boys feel right at home on their boat. We had lots of laughs and overall great conversation as they taught us how to fish. They were very knowledgeable about fishing and guided us through the history of the amazing Alaskan landscape. We caught our limit of halibut and rockfish and saw plenty of wildlife along the way. We saw glaciers and beautiful scenery as well. A BIG thanks to this dynamic duo for showing us such a great time.

Had a great experience on the water with Captain Kelly and our deck hand Connor. We it was our party (2) and another group of 3. Unfortunately the halibut weren’t hitting so we didn’t catch our limit- ended up with 5 total. Kelly was working all day to try different spots and we did hit our rockfish limit and snag a couple cod as well. Connor kept our lines baited and cleaned all the fish as we headed back to dock. Even without hitting our limit the trip was worth it- the wildlife we saw along the way was awesome. I really enjoyed this charter and would recommend it if you’re in the Whittier area!

We had such an amazing day with captain Kelly and Brian! It was my first time in Alaska and my grand kids and daughter were there to enjoy it. Those guys were so patient with the kids and they had no problems engaging with the kids.. epic experience! We all got fish, limits of rock fish and halibut and we we so pleasantly surprised by the entire experience! 🤛🏻

We had the absolutely best experience onboard with Saltwater Excursions! I cannot imagine a more perfect day onboard a charter. We have been on more than a dozen fishing charters of different types and this was hands down the best experience we have ever had. Crew felt like family and made sure we had the best experience!

We charted 2 days of fishing on 7/21 and 7/22. There were four of us and our Captain and First Mate were Capt Kelly and First Mate Brian. We have done a lot of charter fishing in Florida, Texas and California. I would rank Capt Kelly and Brian as one of the BEST fishing experiences we have ever had.They are experienced, friendly, hard working and eager to please. The four of us ended up with limits of Halibut, Salmon, and Rock Fish and we got some Cod as well. We could not have been more pleased with our 2 days.
