Such a shame! Had the most incredible start. Excellent service, followed by amazing wine and food. Then it just stopped? After receiving our food our table was not visited again. We did wait around for quite a while with empty glasses and plates, expecting to be able to order a second drink to enjoy. We could hear one staff member playing something on their phone loudly and the other chatting. There was one other gentleman in there and two mender of staff At the end when leaving after going to the bar to pay no one asked if we had a good meal, giving us chance to mention the service. We did sadly ask for the service charge to be removed as we’re so disappointed. We explained we wanted another drink but they never even bothered to come back over. The chap taking our payment didn’t actually say another word apart from the new price and ‘thanks’ after payment. A quick ‘I am so sorry about that’ and perhaps a reason would’ve gone an extremely long way. Really odd ending to an otherwise lovely experience. £50 for two drinks and some sharing bits. A lot to pay for such poor service really!

Had the most fantastic time with Calum at Salut Wines!!!! Truly made the whole experience and such a lovely man to speak to and engage with. Calum had great wine suggestions and amazing hospitality - the best server I have ever had. HUGELY recommend this wine bar.

Fabulous wine bar in a wonderful part of Manchester. Small but well-chosen selection by the glass, and an utterly fantastic range by the bottle (from around the world). You can even use a tasting card with a wine dispenser! The space has seating both inside and out, and they also offer a selection of small bites to enjoy alongside your drinks. Highly recommend stopping by for a glass (or two)!

Salut is great. They have a wide selection of wines but the only gripe i have is that they need to offer more French 🇫🇷 wine 🍷 considering their name is hello in French I’d have hoped for more. The food I saw being served to other guests looked amazing and I will defiantly be visiting for some nibbles. They have a great system where you buy prepaid card and can serve yourself from the pictures shown. I would visit again

We were seated straight away in the upstairs section which was small yet intimate. We started with the Orange Wine (Mécanique) which tasted refreshing. We also had the house lager (Stiegel) which had a crisp taste with a malt sweetness. The sharing platter was immaculate. Would recommend the Brie and Serrano Ham, alongside the Beef Crisps.
