Went during lunch time and It wasnt too busy. When we arrived there was no indoor seating, but a table had just got up after ordering so we sat down inside. It was pretty chill, not too noisy, the license plate decor was pretty cool to look at. We ordered with a server named Ethan and MY first impression, didnt really like the tone in his voice when he was speaking with us. It seemed like us ordering was an inconvenience to him. We got our food pretty fast and it was cooked nicely. The burgers definitely lack some flavor but otherwise it wasnt horrible. The chicken tenders we ordered for my little one were nice and crispy. I like how the tater tots were not overcooked. Free refills on the drinks. I dont think I would come back though, we were in the area and I've seen others talk about this place and wanted to give it a try. It was good, but not $58 good for the 3 things we ordered, drinks and fries were an additional charge.

This was our first time to eat at Sam’s Burger Joint. The atmosphere here is perfect for the cuisine that they offer. The food is wonderful. I had the guac and jack burger and it was so good. My daughter had the chicken tenders and they were huge and very good. The hubs ordered the monster burger and he absolutely loved it. Sam’s is definitely going on our save list so we can make sure we come back to eat here when we visit San Antonio. Thanks, SBJ, for a wonderful lunch experience. Until next time. 😊

This place used to be good along time ago. Overpriced burgers that have no flavor cost between 12-15 per burger not included was the fries and drink so adding that is additional 4 to 5 bucks per person. Small size beverage cups. Plus we ordered a patty with no seasoning and it looked like a frozen cafeteria pattie. If you are looking for a good burger and a great value meal try burger boy you will save a lot of money and be satisfied with your meal. You can feed a family of 2 for about 20 bucks but at SAMS BURGER JOINT a family of 2 will cost 42.17 that was with an additional cafeteria pattie size small plus we paid cash and did not even get the correct change back 😡😡😡😡😡🤮🤮🤮🤮

Atmosphere was nice, liked all the license plates, old signs, and old band pictures etc. You order at the counter and the ask for a tip! I asked for no pickles iny burger and my daughter asked for no tomatoes on hers, both had pickles and tomatoes, we just picked them off. Bacon was chewy so when you bite it pulls everything off the burger. Great beef smell when you walk in, but the burgers didn't have much flavor and were very greasy, we (I ) paid $103.59 for burgers!, I would never go back, not the worst, but not worth the price.

Came with the family here on a Sunday afternoon. The hostess was nice and helped us get our order in. The place wasn’t too busy. There wasn’t many people so I would expect the tables to be cleaner. We ended up eating outside since most tables were sticky and not clean. The burgers are good. They do have the beyond burger for a plant based option. We tried the burgers, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, onion rings and sweet potato fries. I have to admit the best were the onion rings. The burgers are good. If we’re in the area we’d stop by again.
