One of the most wonderful places in Texas! Maria and Emilio treat you like family. Great wine, great company, and we are always excited to go. Would recommend this place as being a great place to drink for experienced wine drinkers or people trying to branch out and try some unique blends. Maria and Emilio put their hearts into this place and you can see the dedication and joy they put into their wines and winery.
I was invited to a members dinner by some friends. It had been about 10 years since I'd last been to this winery. I remember it being good, but it is a long trek from where I live in DFW, so I just hadn't made my way back yet. It was even better than I remembered. The food was good (a nice perk for members). All of the wines I tried were also good. Many of them were from grape varietals that are uncommon in DFW, so very fun to try something new. The ambience was great, and the owners were friendly and happy to answer questions. We all had a great time. If you're a wine person, it's definitely worth a bit of a drive to visit.
Great winery. Found it about a year ago and go every couple of months now. Wine is great, and the owners/operators are super nice. Wines are affordable and club membership is very reasonable. They have special food events and live music during the good weather months as well. If you’re not a member, remember to call ahead and make a reservation for tastings.
Pretty cool local vineyard and winery, although there is room for improvement. They only offer a few wines by the glass, and the glass price is very expensive. It's definitely more cost effective to buy a bottle, but you can't taste it beforehand. These are all dry wines from Texas grapes, which is appreciated. Fermented and bottled on site. You have to make reservations if you want to do a tasting ($20), but members don't have to. I think they should make it so no reservations are needed. We loved all the wines we tasted. There is no food unless you order online 24hrs in advance, but you can bring your own food. The lady owner is pretty standoffish at first, but warms up after a while... Which is not great for customer interaction. They don't offer wine club members as many perks as other wineries do.
My husband and I did a wine tasting of 3 reds. The grounds were very nice with just a little need for some TLC after winter. They are still requiring face masks as of today. There are several places to sit and enjoy your wine or you can also walk around the vineyard, just bring walking shoes. They do not serve food but you may bring your own. They do require you to wear a mask if you are at the bar but you can remove it when you step away.
