Well well well, if I’d known about this place, I might not have decided to spend $$$ on Disneyland. The carousel is from 1911 and the board walk was 100years old in 2024- I can imagine how the ladies in their beautiful parasols, paraded and enjoyed the surf! This place screams FUN but don’t forget to smell the amazing lemon tree leaves!

Cool boardwalk. Was there on New Year’s Day and was decently busy even though it was a bit cold. Lots of great food options and attractions for the kids. Looks like a good place to spend the day.

Wonderful experience every time (3rd, from NY). Always clean, staff was helpful and kind. No admission fee is great - you just pay for the ride you want, plus lots of options for season or unlimited ride passes.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an absolutely amazing place, especially for families. The amusement park is located right next to the ocean, and the classic boardwalk atmosphere combined with beautiful beach views makes it a truly special experience. There are plenty of rides and attractions for all ages, from exciting roller coasters to fun rides for younger children, so everyone in the family can enjoy themselves. One of the best parts is that the park is directly connected to the beach, making it easy to switch between rides and relaxing on the sand or taking a walk along the shore. There are also many food options, from snacks to full meals, so it’s easy to spend the entire day here without getting bored. Parking is very convenient, with a lot located right in front of the Boardwalk for $15 per day, which is a big plus for families with kids. Overall, it’s a fantastic destination for creating wonderful family memories, and I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Santa Cruz.

One of the best boardwalks in the US among the ones I have been to. Fun, full of people yet not irritatingly crowded at all. The beach is super clean. Boardwalk has a ton of casino, arcade, and other games if you are into that. Huge range of food options - from seafood to pizza - all available within a walking distance. Do not miss the sunset from here.
