I had one of the most targeted, hostile, negligent, and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had in a store. When I walked in, I passed a man who said nothing to me—no greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. I then spent several minutes trying to locate an item in aisles that were poorly stocked, disorganized, and in some cases completely mislabeled. Despite my obvious confusion, not a single employee offered help. Then, without warning, the same man who had ignored me at the door suddenly rushed toward me, shouting and making exaggerated hand gestures. In front of other customers, he loudly accused me of bringing a dog inside “that wasn’t allowed,” instantly creating a chaotic and humiliating scene. His accusation was baseless. My dog was calm, under control, and clearly marked as a service animal with visible signage on both her harness and leash. He ignored all of that and chose to escalate the situation instead of handling anything with professionalism or basic human decency. What made the situation even more disturbing was the complete lack of response from the staff. The store was fully staffed—multiple employees were present—and yet not one stepped in, intervened, or attempted to de‑escalate. Customers stopped shopping to watch because the scene was allowed to unfold unchecked. His behavior was accusatory, aggressive, and wildly inappropriate. No one who behaves like that should be interacting with customers, and no business should tolerate or enable that kind of conduct. I chose to leave immediately and report the incident rather than continue engaging with someone who was clearly unfit to be in a customer-facing environment. Between the empty shelves, incorrect signage, disorganization, and the hostile atmosphere created by both action and inaction, this store is a complete failure. If this is the standard of behavior allowed inside, that speaks for itself. This was not a misunderstanding. I was targeted, publicly humiliated, and left feeling shaken and fed up. Avoid this place. Learn from my experience.

While on vacation, my wife and I stopped in here to get a bottle for our hotel room. The selection of bourbon or whiskey was not great, but there was plenty to choose from and the price was were really good.
There's a couple of rows with bottles you won't find at other SAQ but it's not very big, worth the detour or exceptional. Small store, small inventory.
Staff were friendly until they learned we were Anglophone tourists. I understand there is a bit of systemic racism culture in Quebec that won't change, but if you are a tourist keep that in mind when visiting here.
