Sara’s Alterations did not disappoint! I contacted her in January for my vow renewal in March after four other alteration shops told me they couldn’t work on my dress because of the pearl embellishments. Sara looked at it and immediately said she could do it. My dress was originally a pearl maxi dress, but I had a vision of adding tulle with a long train for my beach vow renewal in Hawaii. Sara brought that vision to life beautifully. I had several fittings, and she was always professional, patient, and attentive to what I wanted while also giving helpful professional advice. She made my $260 maxi dress look like a $1,000 dress. I highly recommend Sara’s Alterations 10/10! I’ll be posting full body pictures once my photographer sends them. Before pics and after below.

Sara helped me alter my Grandma's 1950's wedding dress that was originally too small for me. She added a seamless corset back and changed the neckline to be more modern all while keeping the integrity of the dress and making it looks original. The whole process took less than 2 months. Cannot recommend her services enough, especially with precious clothing items.

Seems capable of decent work and easy going. However, they don't alert me when my items are finished and ready for pickup nor answer phonecalls at either of the two numbers. I will have to find another shop that is more respectful of my time. I have tons of alterations to get done and this setback has put me months behind where I wanted to be on advancing my wardrobe. Edit: I'll have to find another shop. The quality and attention to detail is just not there. Charges aren't cheap enough to endure the frustrations.
