I recently sold through Savills and they made what is a stressful time, a lot less so. Their knowledge, experience and professionalism shines through everything they do. Rather than sitting back and letting your property sell itself, they are very proactive at finding viewers and seeing the process through to conclusion. I had a few issues with my sale initially, nothing to do with Savills, however, this was resolved with speed and efficiency which ensured a successful transaction. Cameron, Tom and Izzy were all very approachable and I’m very grateful for their efforts. I’d recommend Savills to anyone!!

Savills were superb from start to finish. They provided a detailed explanation of what they would do and then they did exactly what they said they’d do. Pricing was clear and final invoicing matched the quotation information precisely. The communication during every interaction with potential purchasers was informative and accurate. Savills helped to secure an enhanced offer. 5 stars to the Savills Team particularly Cameron Adair-Brown but also thanks to Sarah Anderson who tirelessly promoted Savills to us outlining the difference they could make.

We’ve dealt with this estate agent a few times now to view different properties, and unfortunately, the experience has consistently been poor. The most disappointing agent we dealt with was Tiffany Rigg. On this occasion, we applied to view a property and then heard nothing back for about two weeks. Eventually, we had to phone the office ourselves, only to be told that viewings weren’t possible due to problems with the property. At no point was a group email sent out to update interested parties, which would have been a simple courtesy. When we did finally get to view the property, the communication continued to be lacking. We asked several questions and were told, “We’ll get back to you when we know the answer.” No one ever followed up with us. We were even advised we’d hear a decision within a few days, but again there was complete silence. We had to chase repeatedly, only to later discover on our own that the property had already been let. Unlike other estate agents we’ve dealt with recently in Edinburgh, no courtesy email was sent to say the property was no longer available. That lack of basic communication shows a disregard for applicants’ time and circumstances. This isn’t a one-off incident either. Each time we’ve tried to work with this agency, we’ve had the same issues: poor responses, broken promises to call back, and a general lack of communication. Because of this repeated pattern, we won’t be using this service again in the future.

We sold our house with Cameron. He and the rest of the team really did provide a first class service. Cameron gave great advice on valuation and on whether we needed to decorate or change anything, and when it came to sell he sent through some excellent advice on how to present the house. Everyone in the team was very responsive and helpful with all our enquiries. The photos and video were brilliant and we had lots of viewers for the property. I’d definitely recommend Savills for selling a property in Edinburgh.

Cameron Adair-Brown of Savills assisted us in the sale of the Edinburgh family home in 2025. The home had been in the family for over 40 years. From beginning to end Cameron and his team provided exception service with clear, informed, professional and well communicated advice at all stages of the sales process. This was also conducted with considerable sensitivity to the emotions inherent in the sale. Overall an excellent outcome was had and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of selling property in Edinburgh in the future. Thank you once again!
