Dang. I’ve wanted to do this room since it came out years ago and was so excited to do it finally… I left feeling so disappointed. First, the team mates we were paired with sucked- (not the escape rooms fault) They have an option that you can have a private room for $400+ but let’s be honest, majority of us aren’t doing that so it’s a gamble on if you’re paired with a good group (it is Vegas, I guess) Then our GM/actor… boy… I really wish I could say better about him since a lot of other reviews say their actor was a highlight. He, unfortunately, made the experience WAY worse. He would barely nudge us in the right direction when asked, which was not enough for what the room required. Other than that, his character dialogue basically consisted of “wow, you guys are stupid” I don’t mind a game master that playfully roasts our group while in character, in other rooms that has been fun- but this was excessive. Borderline bullying. Instead of adding tension, it added frustration for all of us. The puzzle design is hit and miss. Gotta be honest, maybe these puzzles were cutting edge when the escape room first came out but I’ve seen a lot of these style of puzzles used better elsewhere and for less of a ticket price. The only thing positive out of our experience is the set design. Gotta give them their props I wanted nothing more than love this room and sing it’s praises from the mountain top, but due to falling short on the teammate gamble, our annoyed & highly insulting actor and high tech but illogical puzzle design, I cannot recommend this experience for the hefty price tag.
I had the most amazing time and I can't wait to visit again to play. I did both Saw and Blair Witch and have nothing but gratitude to the people that make the shows work. They do such an amazing job. Saw is my life and being able to be a part of the game made me a giddy as a child.
We had a great time! It was our first escape room, so we weren’t very good lol They sent in a guy to steer us in the right direction without being overwhelming. Would do again and highly recommend.
This was my first escape room and it was awesome! I loved that you had multiple rooms to work through, so you had new scenes and environments! The rooms were so realistic and scary!! We needed a lot of help lol thankfully one of their employees came in as a character to help us out and her acting was pretty darn good (shout out Jenna? Jen? Something like that... lol) we would absolutely do it again! I wish I could've taken pictures or recorded because it was an experience I dont want to forget!
Very difficult game. You will not just breeze through, so be prepared for a challenge. Excellent representation of the Saw franchise; great setting, props, and environment. Sheldon was an excellent actor/guide and really helped make our experience memorable. We did have a couple glitches in gameplay where two puzzles didn't work, but they had us continue through after a certain amount of time regardless, so we got the full experience.
