Excellent school with a great staff. Son has been enjoying his drum lessons and I like that he is assigned “homework” through their app where he has to submit recordings for evaluation. Highly recommend this place.

The staff is amazing and very polite. My 6 year old took a summer camp and in just 1 week I was surprised at how much he learned. They got to try out multiple instruments and he ultimately choose drums. It shocked out how quickly he picked up the beat and was able to play along with the music. He asks everyday when can I start lessons.

My granddaughter took a trial piano lesson and she seemed to have enjoyed it. She had a smile on her face afterwards as well as the teacher Ms Koren. She showed me what she learned when we got home. My granddaughter was happy and anxious to start lessons. We finally got a time slot after a couple of phone calls.

My son enjoys playing for SoR so much. The instructors are patient with the kids and can get down on their level. They play gigs like you would if you were in a local band, it’s really cool. My son knows how to play two instruments before going to middle school. The bands manager is fantastic and tries to accommodate all. Highly recommend!!!! (@ Chesapeake location)

I would definitely recommend SOR - the Chesapeake location is great; everyone is down to Earth and easy to talk to. The staff know all the children by their first name and genuinely care about their ability to learn and strive to get the best out of the kid’s musical talents. I find the email summary they send of the 1:1 lessons or Rock 101 sessions to be very helpful.
