I have great respect for everyone at the West Seattle School of Rock. All of my instructors are not just great people they are exceptionally knowledgeable regarding their craft, and a joy to be around. I'm most happy to have found SOR; it's one of my favorite places to go. I enjoy the experience, being with like-minded people and learning more about my chosen instrument and about music in general.

Going through my first semester and show with SOR West Seattle Adult Program and absolutely LOVING IT! The teachers and staff are wonderful. The group coached rehearsals are great application for what you learn in individual lessons and the live show gives good motivation for practice. It's been way better than standard lessons only. The community of fellow students are kind and encouraging as we work to learn new songs together. I've been encouraging my musician friends to come join and hoping to get my children into the kids program. It's been such a fun experience as I grow as a musician in new ways.

This was the perfect way for our 14 year old to take his skills to the next level. And the band performances are so fun! He absolutely loves his teacher and feels that he’s learning a lot. Highly recommend!

All of the instructors and staff are talented musicians and teachers who provide useful feedback and inspiration. The combination of lessons and performances is a unique and fun way to learn. We do this as a family. The weekly rehearsals for the adult and kids programs have helped us all progress quickly. Everyone in our shows really enjoys playing together too. Great experience!

We love sending our kid to School of Rock West Seattle! The instructors are kind, nurturing, inspiring, and a great influence on the kids in our neighborhood. I love sitting in the waiting room while mine is in the studio and watching the instructors interacting with the kids that come and go. The quality of instruction is high, as is the value we get from it. Our kid dances to the beat of his own drummer, and his instructors are more than willing to guide him along, challenging him every step of the way. Highly recommend!
