Great brunch with a well balanced spicy bloody mary. Must try the lamb chops!! Wow! Never thought I would order lamb for breakfast, so glad I stepped out of regular mode.
I really wanted to love this place, but the experience was disappointing. The food is overpriced, and I was charged extra for eggs that were clearly supposed to come with the meal even though the menu lists it as a full meal. When I questioned it, I was told they “don’t include eggs anymore,” which makes no sense if it’s still printed on the menu. My cocktail was way darker than everyone else’s who ordered the same drink and tasted like straight strawberry purée. I had to keep adding ice just to dilute it, and I honestly couldn’t taste any alcohol and tasted everone else with the same drink it was an obvious difference . When I mentioned it, instead of remaking the drink, I was brushed off. Hours later, I’m still dealing with acid reflux. The server was pretty lackluster , it felt like they were just there for the tip, not the service.I love supporting local businesses when traveling , but the food was mid my son didnt even eat his food and there was zero accountability for obvious mistakes. Definitely not worth the price
Our group each got different things and we were all extremely happy with our food. The serving sizes got us all full. The lamb was so flavorful and the grits were buttery and silky (best grits I've ever had). The greens were so tender and flavorful! Best brunch experience, we WILL be back!!!
On the 14th of October we tried the deep fried French toast, Oatys Lamb, Salmon n Grits, Lobster n Grits, .I must say the service from everyone on that day excellent. My wife and I enjoyed everything ordered. No long wait for well prepared food. All dishes served hot and well seasoned. Looking to return once back in town.
We decided to try Scrambl’d during lunch hour. The place looks modern and new, with cool décor, but it felt a little dirty. The music was all over the place and didn’t create a good ambiance. There were only about four tables filled when we went. Our waitress was friendly and did a nice job describing the menu. We went with her recommendation. The food took a while to come out, and since we were on a lunch break, we had to rush through it. The potatoes were hands down the best part of the plate—crispy and flavorful. Unfortunately, everything else lacked taste, almost like the kitchen was afraid to be bold with their flavors. For what it was, the price felt steep. About $20 for a basic breakfast plate just isn’t worth it, especially when the food doesn’t wow you. Overall, I wouldn’t go back. I think Scrambl’d has potential if they elevate their sauces and aren’t afraid to use spices, but for now, it misses the mark.
