It really sucks being the group that had a bad experience. I understand and appreciate that the ranch prioritizes the comfort of the horses, and the riding instructions during orientation were clear and reasonable. We were told to keep the reins slack for comfort and to guide the horse firmly when needed, then release. While I had a calm horse, some members of my party were given more temperamental horses that would not follow instructions. One horse kept following very close to the other in front of it, and when the rider did as instructed to give more space, the horse would react by tossing its head and continuing the same behavior. We followed the instructions we were give to the best of our ability, but when the horses did not respond as expected, we were yelled at or corrected in a stern, unfriendly way often excessively. the frequent, harsh corrections seemed to increase when the photographer was trying to get good shots, which really took away from the experience of simply enjoying the ride. I planned this trip for my group and truly wanted everyone to have a good time. It hurts that none of them really enjoyed it, and I feel responsible for bringing them to an experience that ended up being more stressful rather than enjoyable. I really wish it had been better.

Came here for my Birthday, Had an amazing experience!! Everyone was so friendly, and carful to both guests & horses. The guides were amazing!! Would come back again :)

I had a fantastic experience on the 1.5-hour beach ride. The scenery was beautiful, the horses were calm and well cared for, and the ride felt relaxed and unhurried.💜💜💜 The staff were great — friendly, professional, and really attentive to our requests, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Highly recommend this company for a memorable beach horseback riding experience!
