We found Stephanie back in 2016. We had just moved to WA and found out we were pregnant! We didn’t have any family or friends up here and wanted to take announcement photos to tell everyone back home we were expecting. From the first few minutes with Stephanie I knew I would love her! Fast forward 5 years and a good 8-10 sessions later and I feel so blessed every time we see her that we found her when we did! She went from being just a photographer to a friend that we truly treasure. If you are looking for a gem of a human who is seriously talented to capture any of your special moments I highly recommend you choose her!!!

We were so lucky to have had Stephanie be our wedding photographer! Her warm, friendly and calm energy combined with her expertise really added so much to our special day! From our initial consult and throughout wedding planning, she was always responsive to our questions and ideas. She also had some great vendor recommendations that we pursued. On our wedding day, Stephanie saved us from some stressful moments, including fixing the dress steamer, helping Naomi get buttoned into her dress and calming our youngest daughter when her nerves kicked in! Stephanie really listened to what kind of pictures we wanted and captured them all-including an amazing picture with our pug dog! When I decided I wanted to surprise-propose to my girlfriend during what she thought was a “couples” photoshoot in one of her favorites cities, away from our home in Alaska, I knew I’d have to find the right photographer. I didn’t know a soul in Seattle, so I relied on the internet. Stephanie responded very quickly. She was taken with my vision, her rates fit my millennial budget, and we got so much more than I could have hoped for. I relied heavily on her location expertise, and I’m so glad I did, because I would have never known about the beach dock she took us to. I appreciated her willingness to go the extra mile, even having a code word for the coming proposal surprise, and being patient/instructional with us as stiff photo subjects. Stephanie’s hilarious and genuine personality really helped with that, and she confidently led the session, which took any burden off of us. The photos were beautiful. She turned moments into keepsakes, and that shows real skill. The process of booking, deposit, payment, and receiving the products was clear and easy. Strongly recommend!

I can’t recommend Stephanie and Seattle Flashing Lights enough – we had the best photography experience possible for our wedding! Stephanie was amazing from the beginning of the process until the end of the wedding and beyond. Stephanie was so great to meet with several times before the wedding, to answer all our questions and help us plan the shot list. At the wedding Stephanie did an amazing job capturing all the group pictures we wanted while keeping us on schedule and corralling the wedding party and family. She also did a fantastic job capturing both the ceremony and the reception. The candid shots from the reception are absolutely wonderful and I love the way Stephanie captured all the joy in the room! Final photos were delivered on time and were beautifully finished. I would absolutely hire Stephanie again and would trust her to capture any important life events!

Stephanie was seriously one of the highlights of our wedding day and the entire process of planning the wedding. The pictures are absolutely amazing and she understood and captured our vibe and spirit perfectly. She was patient and thoughtful and it felt like working with a friend who happens to be a super-talented photographer. On top of everything else, she was helpful in running the wedding day since she kept us on schedule. It was such a delight to work with Stephanie and the only thing I don't like is that the wedding is over and I don't get to hang out with her anymore!
