Love this park! It is so fun to be able to learn more about the ocean and sealife, while also enjoying food and roller-coasters. The rides are completely different from Orlando. The All-day dining is worth it if you go with a teenage boy...eat 2-3 meals and it pays for itself. We were sad that the axolotls were advertised and shown on the app, but the building they were in was shut down and none of the workers around had any idea what we were talking about. The Jewels of the sea exhibit was incredible! Overall, would definitely recommend.
We had a fantastic time at SeaWorld San Diego. Everything was well done, from the incredible orca show to the hilarious and entertaining sea lion show, both were definite highlights of our visit. The park was clean, well organized, and easy to navigate, making for a smooth and enjoyable day. The only downside was that a few rides were closed for the season, which was a bit disappointing. That said, there was still plenty to see and do, and the shows alone made the visit worthwhile. Overall, a great experience and a place we’d happily recommend to others visiting San Diego.
Sorely disappointed! High hopes and dreams coming here and left disappointed. So many things were closed. While the food pass is worth it to buy for how much food/ drink you’ll want to or need to eat during a day the staff weren’t very friendly and the food was often over cooked and cheap. They also need to power wash and dust many of the things around the dining areas inside and out where we ate. Also Merchandise is very expensive compared to other touristy places and it’s everywhere. We did love the orcas, beluga whales and other animals. For the price we paid to come here from states away for our honey moon I don’t know if it was worth what we got for the price. I’ve dreamed of coming here for as long as I can remember and I won’t be recommending it to anyone from now on. I Would highly recommend the San Diego Zoo though. Sorry sea world San Diego but it could have been better! :(
Nice place to have fun with friends and family. This is my 3rd trip and I see many attractions are closed and few good shows as well as you need to purchase extra tickets for sky ride and tower $6 per person. Also multiple fun water rides were closed . The car parking is $40 which is flet insane as i paid $49 for park entrance ticket. Food is also became super expensive and very limited options. Killer whale show still the limelight for this park and teen kids will love the deadly 2 or 3 roller-coaster rides . If you around san Diego and never been to sea world , you can give a visit.
We recently restarted our tradition of visiting SeaWorld by purchasing a new annual pass over Thanksgiving, taking advantage of a great holiday deal and an extra Groupon discount. The main highlights of our visit were the orcas and dolphins. Although we missed the 10:30 AM Dolphin show (due to delays in parking and redeeming the pass), the later Orca show was absolutely fantastic and unforgettable. To celebrate Thanksgiving, we enjoyed a lunch buffet right beside the Orca training pool. Having the orcas swim next to our table was a truly special and wonderful experience. P.S. The Silver Annual Pass is a great deal, as it includes free general parking (a $45 value) and has no blackout dates.
