My partner booked me a Japanese Seitai 120 min massage having no expectations I wasn't sure what I was in for I was greeted by Yujiro he asked me a few question about any aches and pains and then began the massage it was therapeutic as well as relaxing I felt a million bucks afterwards and will be re booking another massage shortly. The staff at reception were also very welcoming.

Valentina was amazing. I had a deep tissue massage and her pressure was perfect — strong, controlled, and deeply effective. She worked with great flow and never broke contact, which made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. I left feeling calm and completely restored. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I enjoyed our head to toe package immensely. The ladies whom attended to us were professional and polite and exceeded in delivering all that we booked for. A very relaxed and comfortable spa.

Disappointing visit — not the Sensu I remember. I had visited Sensu Spa back in 2021 and absolutely loved it, which is why I decided to bring my interstate friend this time. Sadly, the experience just wasn’t the same. We booked the Japanese Princess Spa Package ($225 each, plus additional fees for the hot stone massage and premium facial). From the moment we arrived, there was very little welcome or warmth — no friendly greeting, no explanation of what was included in our package, and no offer to show us around. We were simply asked to remove our shoes in the reception area and taken straight into a room to get undressed for the scrub. There was no private change area, no clear rundown of the treatment sequence — just a quick “choose your scrub scent” and that was that. It felt more like a basic massage parlour setup than a five-star day spa experience. While I could look past those details, what really ruined it for me was the plastic on the massage bed. Lying wet and slippery on plastic during the scrub felt awful — it completely took away from the relaxation. It was more “Dexter lab setup” than “Japanese Princess.” The “premium facial” also fell short — two rounds of cleansing, a quick spray, some light tapping, and a gel mask. That’s not what I’d consider premium skincare. The massage was average at best; 45 minutes, no attention to my legs, and when I asked for firmer pressure, it felt like I’d offended her. The staff were polite, but the overall standard, ambience, and quality of service have clearly dropped since my last visit. The venue also feels more tired and dated now, which adds to the sense that it’s lost its sparkle. If you’re nearby and just want a quick, simple massage to unwind, it could still do the trick. But if you’re expecting a premium, indulgent spa day — this isn’t it anymore. I wouldn’t travel or arrange childcare again for this one, which is disappointing to say. The search for a truly relaxing, high-quality day spa continues.

I got to experience Sensu Spa as a gift from my partner, who lives overseas. He told me he spent time researching the best spa experiences in Melbourne, and he definitely found a good one! The spa was calm and had a beautiful scent. Everything was ready on time and with great attention to detail. I absolutely LOVED the heated massage table, it made me wish every treatment lasted twice as long. Being wrapped in warmth during winter was such a comforting treat. I also enjoyed the tea they gave me during a lovely tea break. By the end of the session, my skin was soft, nourished, and glowing. Overall, it was a truly beautiful spa experience. Thank you so much!
