I had placed a call to Ann Marie at Separk. She was extremely kind and helpful. She followed up and answered all of my questions. She even shared information for another business that might have what I was looking for in stock.

We rent an instrument from here for my child's participation in her school band and have been in a few times for maintenance, repair, or general accessory purchases. Every single staff member we've had the pleasure of interacting with has been incredibly kind as well as thoroughly knowledgeable. They know their business. I couldn't recommend them any more highly. Very happy to support a local business that supports the arts and is well connected to many schools and their needs as well.

Have so far purchase 3 instruments: 1 tenor sax, 1 student trombone, and 1 professional trombone. The tenor sax was sold to me with a spring out of place so I took it to get it repaired. Got it back 6 weeks later and it wasn’t even the same instrument. Just now discovered that this very instrument that was supposed to be problem-free had hot glue on a key pad. Will not be taking it back for repairs. Going to Music & Arts instead. Edit: They also forgot to fix a problem on the first saxophone that I explicitly asked to get fixed.

I love coming to this store. The staff is amazing! We've been coming here for 2 years since my daughter started playing in middle school. They helped her pick a trombone, the books she needed, the payment plan is easy. We recently needed new stuff for marching band, and again, staff is knowledgeable and showed her how the clamps and flipbooks worked. I am really glad to have this store so close. If you are looking for instruments, books, accessories, and even cool little gifts, this is the place.

Great, caring instructors. They know and work with all the area school music directors. They have fair prices on instrument rentals and rent to own contracts, so you don't have to go all in on an expensive instrument that might not be used after the initial lessons.
