From the moment we inquired about hosting our wedding at Sequoyah Country Club, their team was caring, fast, and extremely effective in their communication. They were incredibly considerate of our needs as a queer and Jewish couple and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with a wonderful rustic and spacious feel that felt so inviting to our guests. The amenities and food were flawless, and the staff was always extremely helpful in making sure every detail was taken care of. For being in the Bay Area, the price of our 125 person wedding felt very reasonable. We are just so grateful for the kindness and accommodations provided by the Sequoyah Country Club team, they truly helped make our wedding day an unforgettable celebration of absolute perfection.

We had our wedding here in May 2025. From start to finish, Andrea, Sally and the Sequoyah team were AMAZING. During the planning process, no matter how many emails and questions I sent their way (and trust me, there were many!), they responded so quickly with the most insightful responses. This made the planning process SO much easier. We cannot thank the team enough! Everyone also complimented us on how beautiful the space was and how delicious the food was! I have a big foodie family so having good food was important and the Sequoyah team truly delivered. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Sequoyah CC is such a hidden gem. The people, venue space, photo spots, food, etc. Would highly recommend to any couple looking for a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue with so many different photo spots, delicious food and the most amazing team!

I've been here a few times. I actually did an event for the employees one time. I provided a photo booth for a prom recently and as always this place was great. The staff was nice to work with. I can't wait to come back.

We had a great experience working with Sequoyah Country Club for our wedding in August 2024! Sally and Andrea, the venue event coordinators, were very easy to work with throughout the planning process and kept constant communication with us and the number of questions we had throughout the wedding planning. We first found them online and were able to schedule a tour at their venue shortly after contacting them through the general inquiry website. We fell in love with the venue given the multiple rooms, beautiful outdoor setting, and reasonable pricing. On the day of, everything went super smoothly. We were able to arrive at the club at as early as 7AM to start hair & makeup session for the bride and bridal party. We saw that the catering department had already started setting up the tables which gave us the opportunity to setup our décor. What we appreciated about the venue was they had common wedding items we could borrow instead of purchasing or acquiring ourselves. The inside of the club is really beautiful and very spacious with several rooms to work with. It was perfect for our guest count, 130, but you could easily have fit more. The ceremony was held outside the club on the front lawn with a stunning view. You could also have your ceremony inside one of the rooms in the club if it were to rain. We had the dance floor along with DJ and photobooth in one of the large rooms in the front of the club and in the other rooms or spaces, we had dessert/cake table, and welcome table outside then transferred inside. In the dining room, we had 15 tables of varying sizes. The food was absolutely delicious - we had a tasting of four different entrée options before we booked the venue and everything we tried was great. After dinner everyone danced the night away and had an amazing time. I would highly recommend having your wedding at Sequoyah! My only feedback is that the catering department did rush some of our guests as our guests have expressed. We did share with the venue that we don’t like food waste but I think our late night snack may have gotten thrown away after some guests departed.

We could not have chosen a better venue than Sequoyah Country Club. After visiting many other properties, we fell in love with Sequoyah the second we entered the grounds. We were fortunate to have decent weather, allowing us to use the outdoor space overlooking the course for our ceremony and giving our guests glimpses of the bay. The size and layout of the facilities, as well as the sense of history from the architecture and décor lent to the perfect setting for our reception. We loved the towering redwood trees and massive oaks, which were featured in many of our wedding photos. We couldn’t have asked for a better staff at the event. The service was very smooth and professional, and our guests’ needs were quickly accommodated. The food was delicious, and the serving sizes were very generous. We were pleasantly surprised with the alcohol options that were made available to us for our service, as were our guests. But most importantly, our experience with management from our first visit until the final second of our night was fantastic. Andrea and Sally were a joy to work with, and their years of experience showed in both the preparation for our event and their work the day-of. We would absolutely recommend Sequoyah to anyone who is planning a wedding, or any type of special event.
