We’re so glad we hired Diane for Partial Planning & Day-of Coordination! From the very beginning, Diane was kind, professional, and incredibly organized. Our wedding day would not have gone as smoothly without her expertise and support. We met with Diane multiple times, both via video calls and in person, and each meeting was incredibly helpful. She took detailed notes to ensure she captured everything we wanted, and her thoughtful suggestions helped us refine our vision. As a couple who had general ideas but not a fully formed plan, her guidance was SO helpful! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Diane kept everything on track and made the process much less stressful. She created a detailed timeline for our vendors and did her best to ensure everyone stayed on schedule. Of course, minor timing adjustments were inevitable, but Diane handled everything efficiently and seamlessly. On both our rehearsal and wedding day, Diane had a calm and reassuring presence. Knowing she had everything under control allowed us to simply enjoy the day without worrying about the details. One of the best decisions we made was opting to add gold-accented decorations per Diane’s suggestion, and we’re so glad we did! She thoughtfully incorporated gold elements throughout the venue, and it all came together beautifully. It was the perfect finishing touch that truly elevated the overall look. Diane was wonderful to work with from start to finish, and we’re so grateful for all she did to make our wedding day such a success. Diane did an amazing job for our wedding! We only had 2 weeks to plan for a very small intimate wedding at our house - and it was GORGEOUS. She had such a wide selection and was very flexible on decorating inside when the weather got too cold. My husband and I were so impressed. Everything from set up to clean up was taken care of. Highly recommend!

It’s going to be hard to keep this review brief, but hiring Diane was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From our very first consultation, Diane made it clear that her priorities were making sure we had the wedding decor that we wanted within a budget we wanted. For a full year, Diane went back and forth with us, sending dozens of emails with floral samples, tablecloth options, color schemes, signage, etc. She considered every single part of our wedding aesthetic to create the customized and colorful wedding of our dreams and every minute of her hard work paid off when we saw the final outcome on our wedding day. Our venue was an art museum, and Diane created the perfect decor plan to pay homage to the whimsical nature of our venue while keeping everything feeling classy and elegant. Diane uses only the highest quality fake flowers - I’m still stunned that all of our florals were not real! Diane also did an outstanding job creating customized decor for our wedding welcome event/Mehendi. She not only created custom signage for us and hand-selected decor from her inventory that matched with the theme of our day, but she also created a detailed decor plan for our day-of-coordinator to make set-up as easy as possible. Diane cares deeply about her couples. She went above and beyond for our whole weekend to make it easy, stress-free, and memorable. She printed our seating chart and welcome signs for us, gave us our bouquet/boutonnieres several days before the wedding, and gave us plenty of helpful tips for our wedding day based on her years of experience. We are so grateful to have had her professionalism and expertise to guide us through the whole wedding planning process. We could not recommend her more & we will definitely be hiring her for all of our event decorating needs in the future!!

I cannot express how happy we were that we chose Setting the Scene for our decor. We had the perfect venue @Bowlingbrookmansion and the perfect company to make every detail of our wedding amazing. Working with Diane, has been a pleasure. She was able to transform our ideas to expectations that exceeded our vision in an amazing way. She understood the job and Nailed It. Hit a home run. You wedding day is not just any day, and all the details that she made happen made us feel extra special. We wanted a Bohemian style decor and her experience and professional brought this to life for us. Diana was upfront , no hidden prices, advised us on things we didn’t know to keep cost reasonable, on time , and available whenever we needed her. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect wedding decor consultant . If you are considering this company, from my personal experience you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again Diane for everything 😍
