As a bodyworker, I hold a high standard for whom I entrust my body. Instantly felt at ease, held, and cared for in Dr. Mills' hands. Dr. Mills listens with his hands and heart! He is highly skilled, knowledgeable, intuitive, and, most of all, personable.

Huge fan of Dr. Mills and the whole team at SF Custom Chiropractic! I play field hockey for the U.S. over-45 team, but had been sidelined with a hip impingement and broken foot for over a year before I found SF Custom. It was bad enough that I couldn't walk (hobble) more than half a block without having to stop to keep the muscles in my legs from seizing up, and wasn't able to sleep through the night because of the pain. Several doctors had recommended a hip replacement, and I definitely thought my hockey career might be over. After my first few sessions, I quickly saw improved mobility and stability, which finally let me start strengthening the affected areas again. Over the course of several months, through rigorous physical therapy and regular visits to Dr. Mills to keep things in alignment, I was able to recover enough to rejoin the team and play in this year's World Cup! Even better, I made it through the whole tournament without any further injury, and we had a good result, too! Recovery can obviously be frustrating and take some time and effort, but considering I went from barely being able to walk to where I was able to compete aggressively at a high level again, I couldn't be more thankful to Dr. Mills and team. I love sports and physical activity, so getting that back has truly been life changing!

Love going to SF Customer Chiro and Doc Mills to get sorted out, great folks and know what they’re doing. Great for golfers or anyone who participates in any athletic activities! Hitting the ball further than ever before at age 39 - thanks Doc! Highly recommend for back issues or just a tune up!

I've been in SF for 15 years now and have tried several different chiropractors during that time with no great experiences until I came to SF Custom Chiropractic. The level of care has been far better than any of the others I've tried. Dr. Jacobs and his team are very thorough in their examinations -- it's more of a 'complete' experience -- not just basic adjustment. I had ruptured discs recently and almost had to have surgery, but I found Dr. J and saw that he had experience with this as well as a long list of other issues. I am feeling so much better and other problems have cleared up as well as a result of this care. I highly recommend them. The entire staff is very nice and professional.

Highly recommend Dr. Jacobs and SF Custom Chiropractic’s Russian Hill location! I’ve been a patient on and off for 4 years, most recently to address headaches caused by neck and back tension. The quality of care is comprehensive which is what I love most about this practice. Dr. Jacobs doesn’t just treat your pain, he educates you on the why, helping you at a macro level understand the cause so you can correct going forward. In addition to treatment, Dr. Jacobs provides personalized care instructions and exercises to complete at home. For me, this has been critical in helping manage my pain symptoms in between visits, but also holds me accountable to my treatment plan. Above all else, whether you're new to SF Custom Chiropractic or have been a patient for years. You will walk away feeling genuinely cared for. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always extremely helpful!
