My 2.5y/o daughter had a great time at our trial night. She has been asking to go back and is so excited to be a “ballerina.” Ms. Sharon is so patient and kind! We are excited to be part of this dance studio.
My daughter has been dancing at Sharon’s School of Dance for three years and absolutely loves it! Sharon not only teaches her students the art of dance, but also respect and independence. She teaches from a place of love and truly puts so much into her classes and her recitals are wonderful! Her music choice, costumes and choreography are tasteful and age appropriate. She wants the children to learn technique, but also to be children and have fun! Additionally, Sharon is incredibly easy to reach and always responds to messages. I highly recommend Sharon’s School of Dance!
I’m very thankful for Ms. Sharon and her dance studio. My daughter has been with her since 4 and is now 17. She’s taught my daughter how to become a classy little lady. When I 1st put my daughter in there I wasn’t making much, I will say sometimes I didn’t have it, she still allowed my daughter to dance and didn’t treat her any different from anyone else. Sharon treats my daughter like one of her own. To be honest my feelings are hurt because next year my daughter will graduate from Sharon’s school of dance. So personally speaking I know she’s not about the money, she’s about the kids. My daughter has been with her 13 years. She a great role model for kids, and an excellent teacher. I know because I didn’t teach my daughter to dance Sharon did… Thanks Sharon for teaching my child, keeping her safe and out the streets. And still giving my child a chance when I didn’t have the funds.
Mrs. Sharon has been a massive, positive influence in my daughter’s life! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the love she has for her dancers and the encouraging environment she creates for them. My daughter has built new confidence, been supported and challenged to grow in new ways, made new friends and thrived under Mrs. Sharon’s leadership and direction. She communicates consistently and clearly about my daughter’s progress, asks for input and feedback on how things are going and makes sure that, no matter what the situation, we’re included in decision making. Mrs. Sharon is a gift to all who are who have the honor of knowing and working with her!
When our little one expressed interest in dance at age 3 her dad and I knew that we didn't want her to to be in a competitive dance studio or one that isn't concerned with actual teaching. I was familiar with that side of dance and didn’t think it would be a good fit for us. I wanted a place that would include teaching real basics, fundamentals & techniques and of course be fun. We found all of that at Miss Sharon's. Ms. Sharon personally taught the classes, so she gets to know your child. The setting is fun and pressure free. My daughter comes away knowing the exact names of the steps and positions (of course, she never remembers). I leave knowing that if she chooses to pursue dance further that she's gotten a good foundation and she's in a great place that seems very much like a little community. We are very happy with our decision and look forward to growing with the school.
