My daughter is expecting to have the Ballet and Jazz classes every Saturday. New enrolled but enjoyed a lot. The teachers are nice, the teaching methods are great and the curriculum is well designed.

For the past twenty years, Shelley Shearer School of Dance has been my home away from home! The warmth, knowledge, and passion for dance is evident among all staff members in the studio. The studio has given me many memorable opportunities. To name a few, I have gotten the chance to perform not only in Winnipeg at different dance competitions and our year-end recital, but I also have been fortunate enough to travel for dance as well as participate in different dance conventions. Starting as a student at the age of four, I quickly realized this was something I truly loved. Even today, being in my twenties, I not only teach dance at this studio, but I continue to take class. Every year I grow as a student and teacher, learning new and exciting techniques, along with meeting new families. From pink body suits, tights and ballet slippers, to tap shoes and even sweats and high tops, I was able to grow and pursue my own artistry as a dancer at this school. The variety of classes offered is incredible! You can be any type of dancer you want to be. There are no limitations. I truly found my inner confidence through dance at this school. Throughout elementary, high school, university and even my professional career, my love for dance and my Shelley Shearer family will continue to be a huge part of my life.

I have been dancing at Shelley's for 23 years, first as a student and now as an assistant teacher and I can say hands down that this is the best dance school in the city of Winnipeg, and in my opinion, in all of Canada. The quality of teaching and attention to detail that goes on at Shelley Shearer School of Dance is the best that you will find. The staff are all extremely friendly (and of course talented) and spread their passion and love for dance with all of their students. The studio is always keeping up with new and exciting varieties of dance by bringing in different guest dancers and there is a multitude of choice when it comes to the dance styles offered. Shelley is very involved in every aspect of the studio and can be seen frequently observing classes and providing feedback to the students. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about the school. If you are looking for a studio that has many different styles of dance, focusses on proper technique and helps build and support a love of dance then this is the studio for you. I know that when I have children I will only bring them to Shelley Shearer School of Dance.

I have been with Shelley Shearer School of Dance for 28 years. The studio is an amazing family style community. The qualified instructors put their expertise along with heart and soul into every class, and into every child. The dance instruction is held to the highest standards, worldwide. The studio has the best pre-school programs, and every class style available from recreational to competitive. The instructors are constantly training to bring the highest level to the programs. Students don't only become properly trained in dance, but also are given confidence that stays with them for a lifetime. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

I began dancing at Shelley Shearer School of Dance at the age of 4 and immediately fell in love with dancing. I began with Ballet and Jazz, and ended up enjoying it so much I enrolled in Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, and Lyrical. With 2 trained teachers in every classroom, every student gets individual attention and is challenged in a positive environment. Growing up, I had the opportunity to be taught by an amazing group of teachers who shared their passion for dance with me and allowed me to blossom into the best dancer I can be. This studio has given me wonderful opportunities over the years, from competing on various stages to now being able to share my love of dance with my students as an Instructor. Growing up at the studio it has become like my second home, and I believe there is nowhere else in Winnipeg where you can get the same quality of training and instruction as Shelley Shearer School of Dance.
