I loved the trainers. My pup Rowdy doesn't usually approach people but towards the end of the 6 weeks he was running to greet the trainers. What's even better is when I would tell him we were going to school he would grab his stuff for class and would wait at the door for me go to grade 1!

Thank you Amanda and Aadra !! I cannot say enough good things about Sherwood Bark and their training programs! I’ve now completed both Level One and Level Two classes with my dog, and the experience has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. The trainers are not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also patient, kind, and truly passionate about what they do. They take the time to get to know each dog and handler, making sure the training fits the unique needs of every team. I’ve never once felt rushed or like my questions weren’t important every concern I had was met with thoughtful guidance and practical tips that made such a difference at home. In Level One, I was so impressed by how quickly my dog gained confidence and started responding to the basics. Moving into Level Two, we were challenged in the best way possible with more advanced skills, and I really felt the progress each week. The trainers celebrate every little win, which makes the whole journey so motivating. What really stands out about Sherwood Bark is how much they genuinely care for the dogs. The atmosphere is always positive, supportive, and fun. You can tell the trainers love what they do and want every dog to succeed. I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned and how much my dog has grown through their program. If you’re looking for a place where both you and your dog will feel supported, encouraged, and set up for success, Sherwood Bark is the place to go. I recommend them 100%!

Milo has been attending daycare and obedience classes for the last few months. At daycare and obedience classes, they put Milo with dogs that they know will have a great time. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. Milo is always excited to go to Sherwood Barks and always comes back home mentally and physically tired!

I’ve taken my rescued poodle here after a very bad experience making us both a little anxious but it’s always been great! Jamie has always been understanding with him never pushing, only doing what he’s comfortable with. He’s doing better each time because she’s cared to build a relationship and has great vibes!

We have done puppy 1 and puppy 2 and they were both great, some stuff she knew already before class but it was only a few things and it gave us a chance to practice. I do recommend signing your puppy up as soon as the vaccines are done for the most valuable. Mango ended up getting hurt at her last class of puppy 2 and Maegan/Sherwood barks handled it so well and sent home a bandage for me to put a new one on (I wanted to clean it really well at home). Overall the best part of puppy school was the socialization which they let the puppies do a lot of. We hope to sign her up for puppy 3 at a date that works better for us.
