SheWolf has been a highly anticipated place on my downtown foodie list and after my first visit last night all I can do is rave about this iconic Detroit gem! I was completely mesmerized by the unique culinary transformation of the tasting menu, stellar service, and intimate, chic-modern vibe. Our table was even wiped down in between every course which completely elevated the fine dining experience. Some of the menu rotates seasonally, their house-made pasta is uniquely shaped, and you can see the chefs putting their craft together with the open window kitchen concept. The flavors and plate presentation are thoughtfully executed and the 5 course tasting gives generous samples of several menu items. An indulgence, but truly worth it for a first visit; we were full before dessert! The highlights for us were the Brussels salad and Agnolotti del pain, and you absolutely cannot leave without finishing your meal with their creamy, dreamy pistachio gelato. Every staff member was wonderful but a special thank you to our server, Cassandra, who was a delight and made our experience so memorable. She was friendly, attentive, and really helpful with the layout of the menu options. I look forward to our return and to try their new restaurant, Medusa!

Our dinner was great! We did the Cucina Curata and told them no seafood or raw meats. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. The highlights for me were the brussel sprout salad, carbonara and dessert. Only downside was the steak was a bit tough. 10 out of 10 will eat again.

Amazing service from the bar team last night! Big shout out to Jeff, Brian, Alexis, and Noah for taking such good care of us. I didn’t get our food runner’s name, but every course of the tasting menu was explained clearly and thoughtfully and really made our dining experience more enjoyable. There was never a moment where we felt rushed or hurried through the menu, and every course was 10/10! We really struggled to name a favorite dish or even narrow it down to top 3. We’re already planning a return trip. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Shewolf restaurant is a very nice place to have drinks and dinner. The food we had was excellent, very nicely prepared, and the serving and wait staff were very hospitable and friendly. The restaurant is very close to downtown, and the Pistons Arena. So a nice place for either a pregame or a post game dinner. The only downside on the atmosphere was that it was incredibly noisy. Very hard to listen to anybody you’re with unless you’re shouting at a very high volume.

My party of six had an amazing experience with the multi course dinner with wine pairings. The food was spectacular and the sommelier did a fabulous job providing perfect pairings and information about each wine. The dessert was an espresso pot de creme style dish that was absolutely stunning. The pastas were perfection! Really ... Everything was so good.
