Coffee Shop No. 514 Shotgun House Coffee Roasters San Antonio, TX June 12, 2025 Shotgun House Coffee Roasters is located in an old warehouse. The space is open and bright, but there are many neat nooks with different seating. Has a very industrial feel, but welcoming at the same time. The decor is eclectic. In one spot you’ll find an out of place yet placed chandelier. Be sure to look around because the walls are painted with vibrant colors, uniques images on the wall, and mismatched furniture. Somehow the space works. It’s inviting and memorable. After exploring the inside go check out their garden area. I was in awe by the large heavy antique iron door. I examined the door daydreaming of the stories it could tell. I found the barista to be quirky and fun. He has a lot of knowledge about coffee, suggested some other local coffee shops, and even gave us a brief rundown of the coffee scene and its history in San Antonio. Besides being easy going and laid back, the barista made a fantastic cortado in the most unique vessel I have ever drank a cortado from; a 4-ounce mini quilted Ball jar. What a brilliant and creative way to serve a cortado. It’s a fool’s proof way to ensure the a perfect milk to espresso ratio. I had a wonderful experience at Shotgun House Coffee Roasters; it will definitely go down as one of my most memorable interactions with a barista. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

A fantastic find in San Antonio! Shotgun House Coffee Roasters fills the space with the warm, rich aroma of beans roasted in-house. The atmosphere is industrial yet inviting, and the coffee is exceptional—deep, smooth, and layered with subtle nutty and cocoa undertones. The scent of roasting adds to the whole experience, making it more than just a cup of coffee—it’s a place worth savoring.
