Beware, this place has an unfortunate parking lot predator that boots vehicles if misparked in minutes. However the owner of side kitch tries very diligently to protect people from this badly behaving parking group associated with Michi ramen. Very cute warm store.

We got booted after parking for 15 minutes in the lot alongside Side Kitsch. After telling the cashier about the situation, she said “we have a sign” but it was folded over and barely visible. If the lot next door is booting people at 1pm on a Saturday, they should have made it more clear that you cannot park there. There are some smaller signs but it feels like Side Kitsch is doing it more as a CYA instead of actively trying to help their customers.

Incredible selection with reasonable prices! While they do have some vintage clothing, the real gems here are the furniture, art, and other little knickknacks for the home (lamps, tables, collectibles, etc). The staff are super friendly and helpful. They even offered to text a vendor to negotiate a price for me and saved me a chunk of cash on a vintage rug. Big fan of Side Kitsch!

Sprawling place with a broad assortment of great vintage clothes, decorations, and home accessories. It's connected to a salon, serves drinks for salon customers, and has Austin's best changing room. This is an impressive experience and an indispensable stop when touring Austin's vintage shops. They're a few doors down from another great vintage place.
