Horrible organization. They don’t communicate, do the opposite of what they say, have little to NO support for the family, lie extensively about the child’s situation and place you in a very dangerous position. The social workers don’t see the child at all until a month in or later and that is their first time seeing the child. Think really hard before using them to create your family. You will regret it and should find another organization for your loving heart and home to be filled with a child. This place is the worst!

It can be a little hard to find them in parking lot for the first time, but it is very easy to access the building once you have. Very nice people when I visited and good information available to people who don't know much about the process. The staff that I met were very passionate and helpful.

I love that this agency is so focused on what is the best and most healthy outcome for the child. I feel like so many people get wrapped up in what they want that they forget is less about them and more about the wellbeing and safety of the children, and they totally understand that here.

Uneducated in general, and definitely not up to date on the 2018 changes regarding "Resource families." Their orientation was laughable; by far the worst I've been asked to attend by the state. This is another Sacramento area agency discriminatory/bias against people with (functional) disabilities and PTSD (military families beware). They also WILL NOT work with families who are actively trying to become pregnant or going through IVF, so keep that in mind. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend this agency or wasting your time with them. Good luck to you.
