I have never really had anything bad to say about this vet hospital as I've been coming here for the last 10 years. After today's visit, I was a little skeptical about continuing services at this location. Today's visit was an annual exam for my eight year-old dog and a more closer focus on a bump he developed on his bottom tooth. The nurse that came in was mistaken, and had his reason for visit listed as "bottom" meaning butt while looking at my dog's chart on the computer showing that it's the reason for visit is bottom teeth, not the actual bottom. So anyways, the doctor comes in and he goes on and on about prostate care and things to think about as your dog gets older for neutered animals as he was petting my dog in our room. I cut them off and said my dog is neutered and he has been since he was one years old. And we've been coming to you guys for the last 10 years. He was thoroughly surprised he was fixed while still petting my dog. His chart was up on the screen, and the nurse and doctor had access to see that so I was a little concerned that the attention to detail was missed that he was not fixed. I got my answers that I needed in regards to my dog's mouth. Go to the front desk and as I'm paying for the bill, the doctor comes out in the lobby and is taking my dogs heart rate with a stethoscope in the middle of the lobby and I'm thinking to myself shouldn't this have been done in our room during the exam and not after I've already paid. He proceeded to add heart murmur care, or whatever he diagnosed in the lobby to my estimate. So after that, I left. 10 minutes into my drive home, I realize I did not walk away with the medication. The front desk, ladies forgot and let me leave after I already paid for it (I should have said something but was so thrown off from my visit I forgot to ask). Not sure if I'm going to continue my care at this location because I feel like that was a lot that transpired in one visit and the attention to detail has been dropped over the years.

They are a little pricey but the quality of care is unmatched. Our Rocky went there for 14 years and they kept him healthy and pain free as long as they could.

The best service so happy I found Sierra Veterinary Hospital after a terrible experience at Hardin .Staff was kind respectful and just welcoming .The Veterinary was amazing helpful kind and informative. If you are looking for a great place to take your pets this is it.Thank you so much 💖

I love Sierra Vet!! Dr. Cleary and Dr. Yao are both amazing! I have not had the opportunity to work with Dr. Gillam but have seen her interact with clients and I can tell she loves her patients as do all the staff at SVC. I recommend all my friends and family to take their fur babies, from grooming to general health care they are pawsome.🐾❤🐾.

So happy I brought my dog here. The vet was amazing! He educated us on the food and other things to do for my dogs hair lost. It was very reasonable and clean. Everyone here truly took pride in their career. I will continue to bring my fur baby here.
