I have traveled all over the world and tried many, many, MANY Carrot Cakes. The Carrot Cake I got from Sister Honey's is by far the best one I have ever had. EVER!!!! They are the world champion in Carrot Cake baking. Make sure you order it well before you need it so you will not miss out as they are very popular.

Being new to Orlando, I wanted to find a local bakery. Something small, not a chain bake shop. When I put in a search, Sister Honey came up as being in my neighborhood. I am so happy to have found this gem of a bakery. You are greeted when you walk through the door, not only by the smell of butter in the air but by a warm smile and hello from the guy at the register and occasionally from the bakers in the back, including the owner herself. The shop is always clean, the display of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, pies, puddings and other treats are amazing. The 20+ national blue ribbons that the shop owner has won and the fact that this is a black owned business is also what attracted me to this bakery. I have lived in Orlando for a year and I visit this bakery 3x a month. My personal favorites are the Strawberry cream pie, Hummingbird, Brown Butter and Rum cakes. Whatever your expectation of good desserts may be; prepare to be blown away. Everything is amazing! Our go to items are the cupcake cheesecakes, hummingbird cake or cupcake, pecan tarts, and coconut cake. The mini cheesecakes are perfectly balanced with a delicious dollop of cream. They quickly became our dessert of choice for birthday celebrations or a simple afternoon treat. We are grateful to have this one of a kind bakery in our neighborhood.

Found this gem while scrolling TikTok. Went right away and was not disappointed. The man at the front counter was nice and patient while we decided on what we wanted. I got the lemon pound cake and german chocolate cake. Both are absolutely divine but the lemon cake is my new favorite. My hubby got the cookies and cream cupcake and loved that as well. I hope this business continues to thrive because I’ll most like be here every week!

We have been coming here for years and they have always been nice. The desserts are absolutely amazing. The shop is adorable. She is deserving of every award she has because everything has been too tier. I love the different choices. I have had nothing but positive experiences.
