Had a great training experience with Kolby for my (malinois)Toby. Before SMS it was imposible to take my dog out for a walk… the pulling and lack of basic obedience was unmanageable. Kolby was very knowledgeable and I couldn’t be happier with the progress Toby has made . Would definitely recommend, they work with your schedule and cost can be set up in payments !

We did a 5 day jump start program. Our dog was so well behaved after just two sessions. Absolutely worth the price. Plus, we can drop in at group classes to reinforce her training and learn new skills.

JD did amazing with our Labrador, Moose. Now every evening walk Moose walks off leash, we removed his cage around his bed after a trial period of leaving him at home while we are at work a few days a week, roaming freely and he has done great! He knows the difference between his bed and his “place”, and he is doing really well with knowing the difference. We are very grateful for you and the time you spent with Moose. We have been working with him every days and reinforcing the training you have taught him, and us. He loves to learn and he is such a great dog. Thank you for all of your help. We will be forever grateful! You won’t regret hiring a trainer from Sit Means Sit! 💛

When we rescued our chihuahua mix we were at a loss on where to start getting her acclimated. She was just over two years old and had never gone on walks, been socialized, or learned how to go potty outside. Getting her on a leash and out the door for her first few vet visits was traumatic for her. My husband and I felt a little helpless even though we tried to reassure her. That’s where Sit Means Sit entered the picture. We were at the point we knew it would take more than just us reassuring her to make her the confident, well adjusted dog we knew she could be. JD came to our house and met with us and Millie, from the start I knew it was the right choice for Millie. JD was knowledgeable and kind. The first several training sessions JD worked one-on-one with Millie and it was like she was just waiting to learn the tools she needed to be confident! It was the jump start we needed! Now with the continued work at home on our end (you get what you put in!) and group class we have a well-adjusted, well-behaved dog. Millie goes with me to coffee dates, I’ve taken her to doggy play dates, and she no longer barks at everyone passing by our house outside. Sit Means Sit gives you the tools you need to make sure your dog is the confident, well-behaved dog of your dreams as long as you are willing to put in the work and be consistent. I recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone that has a dog.

Amazing training experience, JD was super helpful and very knowledgeable. We took our Doberman (chato) in because of some behavioral issues and command issues, jd put us on the right track with some easy routines that we could work on with chato daily.. and it’s safe to say it worked! Definitely recommend these guys over at Sit means Sit Bakersfield 10/10 stars !!
