The rink was actually in somewhat decent shape in comparison to how others described it in their reviews, so that is not the reason I’m giving this experience a 1-star. I’m giving the experience a 1-star for how poorly managed and overcrowded the venue was. I understand it’s more of a “gimmick” than an ice skating experience and that it’s popularity skyrockets around the holidays, but I spent 40 minutes driving up and down the streets just to find parking. Mind you we came on a Monday, Dec 29th, late in the day at 8pm. Didn’t think parking would be an issue. Finally ended up having to settle for an underground parking garage that charged FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS PER HOUR?! That should be illegal. Especially when I’m already paying near $100 for ice skating for two people (I’m from Michigan and my buddies would laugh if they knew I spent more than $20 for ice skating). The parking made us 15 minutes late for our time slot but honestly I’m unsure what the point of time-slots are if you’re elbow to elbow with everyone else on the rink anyways. No room to even skate. Honestly just an overall frustrating experience.

Skating at the del on christmas day was the most magical festive experience to do with my family! My daughters always have lots of fun we come every year. Everyone was very friendly and the skate guards were very attentive and made us feel safe the entire time!

This was seriously the cutest experience ever! Skating by the ocean with the sea breeze and views of the water made it feel so magical and festive. The rink was super well kept, the staff were really nice, and everything was organized so smoothly.

We had a fantastic time ice skating here with my daughter. The check-in process was smooth and quick. After checking in, we picked up our skates. It was great that they had double blades, especially since it was my daughter's first time. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun holiday activity.

Me and my fiance went do you have a good time the directions to the location where a bit difficult to understand. We had to park down the street and walk the only parking garage in the area cost $40 per 2 hours so the owners definitely I'm sure are millionaires if not multi but anyway we walked to the location after getting lost then noticed a line of about 200 people after a good hour and a half weight we made it to a small wooden shack with two workers inside we were asked if we signed a waiver and had already purchased tickets to which I said no was not aware that we needed to sign a waiver nor was I aware I could have already purchased tickets then I was told to scan the QR code on the billboard next to the wooden shack and then took me online where I was given the option to purchase two tickets at $40 each for 90 minutes of ice skating on top of the 40 to $80 I paid for parking credit card only another 80 490 minutes of skating other than the directions being hard to pinpoint the location the cost of parking the cost of skating the cost of getting coffee and waiting in the near 50 person line the experience was a bit frustrating I planned on proposing to my fiance that night but plans change I act accordingly the views of the Christmas lights and the atmosphere was genuinely pleasant the staff was very helpful just finding the staff was confusing all in all I would go back if they were not so extremely extremely crowded and busy
