We hosted my husband's 60th birthday celebration at this venue, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The staff was extremely helpful, with Brooklyn serving as my event coordinator and providing exceptional assistance. The bar staff was outstanding. This venue is simply stunning.

Our wedding at Slate was absolutely stunning — and not because I suddenly became organized or stress-free. Slate took every ounce of heavy lifting off me. I’m convinced they have magical powers, because every time I even thought about panicking, they already had it handled. DJ Cmoorelife kept the whole night alive. I don’t know what kind of musical wizardry he does, but even the cousins who “don’t dance” were out there acting like they were auditioning for a music video. Mr. Mendez was amazing to work with — calm, professional, and somehow always three steps ahead of anything I needed. And the bartenders? Top notch. Friendly, fast, and mixing drinks so good they should probably come with warning labels. Slate gave us beautiful memories I didn’t even know I needed. The setup, the details, the vibe, the flow of the night… everything was seamless and perfect. Even my kids were impressed — and they’re teenagers, so that alone deserves an award. If you want a wedding that feels like a team of fairy godmothers, superheroes, and event experts came together to make your day flawless, Slate is your place. Highly recommend. I’d get married again just to hire them all over — don’t tell my husband I said that. 💍😄

This placse is very elegant and classy. It has a piano player ,a full size bar, and they serve appetizers on Thursday nights . Tracy, he took care of me last night.He did a wonderful job and keeping my drinks filled and checking on me. I got to meet the owner,I believe his name is Eli, He was very polite and courteous. The place is very clean and well kept up. This is a wonderful place to hold any events you have because of the professionalism of the staff and the ambiance. I will definitely be back.

There aren’t enough words to describe the level of care and hospitality that the staff at The Founders Tower/Slate bestowed upon my family and I. We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary and it’s was absolutely spectacular. Brooklyn, Ginny and the staff took amazing care of us from beginning to end. We couldn’t have asked for better establishment to celebrate 50 years of love. Thank you all again for working with us to make the occasion something my parents will always remember! You are amazing!!

We recently hosted a murder mystery party in the Scarlet Lounge at Slate, and it couldn’t have been a better venue for our speakeasy-themed event. The ambiance was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make the night special. From the planning stages with Eli to the night-of support from Pedro and the bartending team, everyone was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely enthusiastic about the event. I highly recommend this venue—not only for its unique atmosphere but also for the top-notch service, attentive management, and reasonable pricing
