Julian arrived 30 minutes late and smelling like booze. I really should have just left ahead of time, but thought "oh I've waited so long for this appointment so I might as well stick it out." Plus I didn't smell him until he started washing my hair. Afterwards, he didn't use a drop of moisturizer before trying to detangle. This man started raking through my dry Type 4 hair from the mid-length out and barely touched my roots. It got to the point where I had to ask him to use smaller parts. When two more customers came in, he really started rushing and tried to brush out my kinky edges from the root out like a cheap buss down wig. Keep in mind that I had finger detangled and sectioned my hair at home, so it didnt need to be manhandled in that way. Julian just doesn't know how to take care of natural hair and it shows. And I wish he said that, right rather than playing around and causing damage. There was other weird stuff too, like how he dropped the paddle brush but kept using it without washing it. Or blew my hair out against the grain. Or didnt section my hair at all. I could go on. I think he sensed that I was uncomfortable too and just asked me if I wanted to stop and I said yes. What a miserable day.

If I could rate a -0 I would. I am currently looking into the individual who owns this establishment. I witnessed my sister drop her off for her appointment and was treated extremely poorly. We spoke about it the night before I gave her a reference to another hairstylist. She had a gut feeling things were NOT going to work out with hairstylist Kristian or Kish. From the very beginning, my sister Mentioned her nasty and unfriendly attitude. Me personally I would’ve never went through with the appointment, but my sister likes to give people the benefit of the doubt and has a heart of gold. If my sister said this lady was rude mean and nasty I would bet my life on it. My sister is the sweetest girl unproblematic easy-going Can almost get along with anyone!!! Unacceptable!!!!

I don’t know where to start! I booked my appointment online. I reached out to introduce myself and to speak with the person that would be doing my hair the first phone. She was very rude. Very short. I know hairstylist are busy seven days a week maybe a bad day a day before my appointment, I drop my weave off, she was extremely rude and nasty as if she’s doing me a favor and And I’m annoying her. At that moment, I knew this might not be a good idea. I’m optimistic. I know everyone has a bad day. -DAY OF APPOINTMENT I SHOW UP TO MY APPOINTMENT STANDING OUTSIDE. I HAD TO CALL HER TO GET IN THE SALON. ONCE I CAME IN THE SALON. I GREETED HER. SHE BARELY SAID ANYTHING BACK. I COMPLEMENTED HER ON THE SALON ONCE AGAIN SHE DID NOT SAY ANYTHING. She instruct me to follow her to the back as she grabs a bottle of alcohol off the counter. I don’t know if she had a long night or maybe there’s trouble at home but she spoke to me as if I was a child very rude. Very nasty. Very high and mighty customer service was the worst I have ever encountered. I’ve lived in Rochester for 34 years. KISH Does not enjoy doing here and should find a different occupation immediately!!

Julian is the best! He always gets me in and out, no waiting and no other clients at the same time. I always get compliments on my silk presses and blow outs. He keeps my daughters and I hair healthy and beautiful. Elizabeth Jackson

Horrible experience, braider didn’t show to the appointment after telling me to purchase the braiding hair. When I called her, she said she forgot about the appointment and would head over. Waited 30 minutes with no sign of her. Then a different braider came out and alerted me that there was an incident in the building and there would be broken glass on the floor, when I go inside. She also mentioned that she hadn’t contacted all of the stylist about this, and the braider I had (Ziare) wasn’t here when this happened and wasn’t aware of the incident and that this was not why she wasn’t there. The appointment had to be canceled, and I was still charged for the deposit, and already paid $80 for the hair she recommended. Be very wary of booking with them.
