I engaged Slick Design for a full custom website build, trusting in their professionalism and paying a significant amount of money upfront without ever requesting a discount. What followed was months of fragmented communication, missed deadlines, and a deeply frustrating experience where I often had to provide creative direction and even correct basic layout logic myself. The final handover — after repeated requests and delays — still required extensive work to meet a functioning standard. But what’s worse: after the site was “delivered,” they simply disappeared. No response. No accountability. No willingness to address outstanding issues. It felt like I was ghosted the moment the payment cleared. Even when my new developer sent a thoughtful, professional review of the site’s many technical and structural issues, the Slick Design team didn’t even acknowledge it. Not a single reply. That silence says everything. I’ve since had to invest additional time and resources just to clean up what should have been delivered properly in the first place. There’s no way I can recommend Slick Design to anyone seeking a team that delivers with integrity, presence, or basic responsibility. I hope this review saves others from going through the same.
