A great art centre that hosts community events along with selling books, art, and cards! An undervalued spot in Smithdown.

What a vibrant little Arts hub this is! Just been part of Bridge over Smithdown part 2, and every single part of the process, with the poets and musicians, was fantastic! Then there was the Palm House! Wow all the way and such lovely people!

A fantastic, welcoming gem of a place I found through a wonderful poetry competition. Brenda and her team organised a fantastic couple of evenings in Gallery 455 with poets sharing their poems to music with a jazz trio. This resulted in the opportunity to head to a recording studio at Toxteth TV which again was a brilliant experience. The book The Bridge over Smithdown produced is of an excellent standard with lots of photographs as well as poems and its launch night in The Palm House was a beautiful night. Highly recommend you find this place and follow their work.

This is a really inspiring place. A Gallery showcasing and selling the work of talented local artists, which is amazing in itself, but after talking to the people behind the space theres much more! Workshops, classes, film making and a flexible space for photography, editing and much more! Check it out! X
