Had a coupon, was bluntly told I had to write a good review to use it. During the smog check I was chided for not posting the review yet, before service was even complete, then again at the end. I'm guessing the 5 star reviews here reflect the pushy tactics. My husband brought in an older car recently (he didn't know this was same place I'd gone to) and the guy said "you really want to smog this?" then quoted a ridiculous price.

DONT TRUST REVIEWS - HE BUYS THEM The guy running this place is a total joke. Tries to nickel and dime you for everything. Wouldn’t honor a discount I found on his site and said he’ll knock off $8 if I leave a positive review. Horrible customer service, and extremely rude. I walked away and took my business elsewhere and I’ll never return. At “KM Test Only” right now in Del Mar and they are 1,000,000 times nicer and more enjoyable to work with. I’ll be coming here from now on.

Good experience. In and out very quick even after waiting for another cars test to be done As one of the other reviews mentioned that they ask for a review for using the coupon. They didn’t ask me explicitly to give 5stars and neither did they verify. General charge is 60$ with coupon is 39.95$ with 8.25$ for certificate ( 8.25$ might apply on top off 60$ too). Cash is cheaper else card has surcharge, I paid 50$ total including everything after coupon
