We stopped by Snooze for breakfast while in Dallas. It was a quick walk from our hotel. We arrived around 8:45 on a Saturday morning. It was busy! We sat at the bar since there was no tables available. That was a-ok with us. We prefer the bar anyway. The restaurant gets very loud due to the number of people. The bar servers doubled as baristas so the service was slow and they weren't very attentive for coffee refills or water. The food was wonderful! They have many great choices for traditional breakfast or a healthy start to your day. Overall, I would definitely recommend. Just know on the weekend it's going to be crowded and loud and don't expect a quick in and out.
I sat outside for brunch with my best friend. We got the chocolate haze hot chocolate, biscuits and gravy, and toffee pancakes (part of their holiday menu). It was all amazing! The hot chocolate was like a dessert topped with whipped cream with chocolate and caramel syrup. The rosemary in the gravy was such a flavorful twist on a classic. And oh the toffee pancakes!! There weren't nearly as sweet as we thought they would be but had a salty twang to them instead. Our waitress was busy but attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful brunch and will be back again!
My husband and I ate at Snooze after finding it on Google. It was great! We were a little turned off by the way the front parking area looked and smelled (with only 2 non-handicap and 2 handicap spots, by the way - the real parking lot is in the back of the building and you walk around to the front). Once we got inside, though, our hesitation vanished. It’s such a cool, fun, retro vibe! We sat in a booth, which was comfortable even with the worn out seat cushion. Kiki was our waitress. She was very friendly and didn’t hover over us asking if we were ready to order yet, which we really appreciated. We like to sit and enjoy our coffee for a little bit before we order our food. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over medium and rye toast. My husband ordered the classic with eggs over hard, bacon, and substitute a pancake for the toast. It costs $5.75 to “swap” the pancake for the toast, which I thought was expensive. When we had the pancake last for our breakfast dessert, it was definitely worth it! The whole meal was great!! The restaurant got busier as time passed and it was never really loud. I don’t remember overhearing anyone else’s conversation or being distracted by another table, which is a huge plus in a restaurant. I ordered a lavender latte to go (as is - with whole milk) and it was excellent! This was a great place that we will recommend to friends!
Lc Container and Family came here for breakfast as we have done in the past and once again it did not disappoint. There were plenty of new options on the new menu as well as drink options for any taste we walked in and we’re seated almost immediately and had a enjoyable breakfast/brunch This is a great location and we will definitely be back.
I got breakfast and oh my goodness are the scrambled eggs are like nothing I have eaten before. SO AIRY AND DELICIOUS. Kind of delicate. If you like perfectly burnt bacon this is for you. Hashbrowns are presented in a different way than I’ve seen before but that doesn’t affect the taste. 10/10 I do have to say that the seasonal pumpkin pancakes were mid. 7/10 the service was just ok. Staff was nice but my table was left to wait more than anticipated to order and to ask for cutlery. Atmosphere was great.
