Magda was a great tour guide. She was genuinely happy to be with us and share interesting information about the Gas Lamp district. The food was delicious and we all had a lovely time!!!
Who knew there’d be so much history in the Gaslamp district! Our guide Blerta unfolded each fact-filled story in a fun and engaging manner and she was ready to answer all of our questions. The evening stroll was leisurely and our surroundings seemed to light up even prettier because it was dark by the time we were done. Food and specialty drinks were a big hit - big enough samples to where you didn’t feel stuffed yet tempting enough to make you want to go back the next day to check out the menus from the places we visited. You will get plenty of insider information that only a “local” would know. Thank you Blerta for a wonderful evening . . . it was the perfect kickoff activity for our San Diego adventure. We highly recommend.
My wife and I booked this tour for our first day in San Diego and it was a tasty and historical treat. Our guide Bleu told us captivating stories about the area and some of the people and experiences that shaped Old Town. From seeing a haunted ghost mansion to the graves of the indigenous families who thrived here, it felt like a welcoming and fun history lesson mixed with some of the best tacos, elote, and churros I've ever had. Thanks for sharing this incredible piece of culture with us and I look forward to learning more!
I signed up for the Gas Lamp tour. I was in a group with four other people and an awesome tour guide named Magda. She was personable, professional and very knowledgeable. The tour included places to taste excellent food. Along the way Magda provided history about the area and answered all our questions. I really enjoyed myself and had fun interacting with the group. It was nice to go in a smaller group. I recommend this tour.
Our tour with Blerta (aka B) was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met her, it felt less like a guided tour and more like walking around San Diego with a good friend. She’s so funny, charismatic, and welcoming that you instantly feel comfortable. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and she paired each stop with fascinating stories about the history of the Gaslamp Quarter that really brought the area to life. I’ve been on several tours over the past three months during my extended honeymoon, and this was hands down the best one. B made the entire experience so enjoyable and memorable! It wasn’t just a tour, it was an experience I’ll never forget. If you’re in San Diego, don’t miss the chance to book with her.
