On Saturday 12/20 my daughter and I stopped in to find a sweet treat. I have been craving baklava so bad and since we were next door getting something for my son, we decided to go in and see what goodies we could find. The young man behind the counter was super nice and very helpful. He has such a wonderful attitude. He did an amazing job hooking us up with our choices and he was 100% right about the vanilla macaroon, it was soooo good. The baklava was really good too. We will definitely be back for more sweet treats.
I was looking for somewhere local to purchase a strawberry shortcake and came upon this website for So Sweet. It’s local and was down the road from where I needed to be and according to their hours listed on their website, opening at 9 am, it was timed to work out perfectly. Placed the order over the phone, simple enough process and the person who took the order said they would mark on the page that I had prepaid the full amount which was nice and helpful. I show up to the bakery this morning at 9 am to see signs on the door that they didn’t open until 10 now. I don’t know when the hours were changed but they definitely were not updated on the website which was disappointing. Now my plenty of time turned into a very short time crunch. Found somewhere nearby to kill some time but ended up back in the parking lot and just waited there. I thought it was a bit odd that there was no one inside baking the stuff to start the day for the fresh baked items, but obviously I hadn’t been there all morning to know if someone had maybe already come and gone. 9:50 rolls around and there’s still zero activity inside. 9:55 and I’m waiting by the door when one of the employees shows up. There another woman who was there earlier but didn’t have a key because the second person had to jog around the side of the building to either get the key or do something because he wasn’t back to unlock the door til 10:02. That wouldn’t be an issue if I wasn’t already on the unexpected time crunch, but my window was slowly closing. The two employees were nice, let me in even as they were walking around getting the lights on and open. The young man behind the register did seem a bit confused as to which order was mine despite the tags on the door, but he grabbed it and boxed it up for me and apologized. The website also advertised the cake as having ‘glazed strawberries’ on it, but all mine had was mounds of whipped cream and two strawberries plopped on top, the green still on them. The cake itself tastes nice, but I would not order again unless I had way more of a window for pick up which doesn’t lead to ordering for events at all. I would also suggest updating the website with the correct hours and realistic pictures of the cakes that are going to be delivered. Great taste but definitely not what was advertised. I think if I would return, it would be to peruse the traditional desserts offered. First pictures are what was delivered, second is the advertised.
✨ Found this little gem today! Honestly, words don’t do it justice. ✨ We were greeted by Mohammad (later found out he’s the owner!)—so kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The macaroons were top notch, and it was our first time trying Lebanese pastries… absolutely loved them! 🥰 And the coffee—oh my goodness—perfection. ☕️💛 Oh & a cute little kitchen for the kids. We’ll definitely be back!
I really wanted to love this place but i am severely disappointed. I have ordered a cake from here before so i thought it would be a good option for my parters 30th birthday. I ordered online and clearly instructed them to contact me before making the cake which never happened. I called 2 days before the cake was made to make sure the cake was up to my standards and someone answered and said they would connect me to the baker and they never called. Pickup time came and no one even called to tell me the cake was available i had to call myself. I paid $125 for this cake which makes my standards so much higher. When i picked up the cake it didnt have nearly as much decor on it as the reference which was fine because the cake was still beautiful. The cake itself was AWFUL. Tasted severely of salt and baking soda/powder. My guest didn’t even eat it because how bad it is. I hate to go this route but i have emailed them about the quality of the cake and no one has responded to me. Severe poor communication. For $125 i expect much better communication and quality. This picture shows all that my guest ate and those pieces on the plate were wasted because no one wanted to eat it.
Barista was the best! Pistachio latte my friend got. She loved it. I didn’t love mine I got latte. They need more variety on menu. White mocha or frappes, stuff like that. Also maybe more people working…. But other than that it was okay. Also the macarons got to go. Not the vibe.

Where Lebanese tradition meets French elegance in every sweet bite.
