Somerhaus is a unique, vibrant event venue in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine, offering a flexible, lush space perfect for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. With a 4.9-star rating, our team provides exceptional support, from day-of coordination to seamless catering and AV setups. The eclectic, modern design and cozy atmosphere create a one-of-a-kind experience, accommodating up to 75 guests comfortably. I loved our office afternoon off-site at Somerhaus. Coordinating with Beth was awesome and she made us feel at home. I appreciated how flexible the space is in terms of tables and chairs, getting catering in was a breeze and they have an excellent AV set up that was perfect for our presentations. The space itself is gorgeous and unique. It was so nice to be in such a colorful and lush room on a day that was snowy and cold outside.
Somerhaus is a dream event space!!! Beth and her team supported us in every way possible for our welcome party. The venue was funky, cozy, and a create your own kind of space. From our first interactions, the team (Beth) at Somerhaus was wonderful, communicative, and incredibly helpful. The venue itself is truly unique, with an eclectic, modern, and fun design that allowed us to do anything we wanted. Somerhaus provided a one-of-a-kind space in a great location in OTR that really made our day even more memorable. We comfortably fit ~75 guests with full service catering and an awesome dance floor. The team went above and beyond to ensure the night went perfectly. The bar was also AMAZING. Great drinks and super friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.
Somerhaus was my dream wedding venue! This place has such a unique, eclectic, intimate vibe...everything I was looking for. This is the perfect place for a small, cozy wedding. My husband and I had a January wedding with about 65 total guests showing up. We had the ceremony and reception in the same space. We added on the Day of Coordinators package and Beth and Emma were incredible to work with. I was able to go to the venue a handful of times to go over updates as I was going through the wedding planning process, get measurements of tables, trial a table setup onsite, and work with them on open items I needed to make decisions on. I did get especially lucky there was no event the prior evening and I got to drop of all the decor items the day before the wedding. The day of the wedding Beth and Emma were incredible! I got to venue around 2:30pm the wedding day and got to see the whole vision come to life. They executed everything perfectly! As the evening went on, Beth and Emma, were miracle workers getting all the food setup, filling champagne for the toasts, and cleaning up everything... I mean everything. My parents got to enjoy the evening and the Somerhaus team cleaned and packaged all the decor up and my parents were so grateful for this. I could not have asked for a better venue and team. The coordinators and bar staff were amazing! ** Bonus: We booked a photoshoot at Somerset (sister bar) from 1-2:30pm to do all the bridal party photos. I highly recommend coordinating this as the pictures turn out stunning.
We got married here on 02/22/2022 and were the first wedding in the space. From the moment we first met with James to see the space we knew it was meant to be. The energy and vibe that him and his design team have created is beyond perfect. Upon walking into the space you feel transported and have a sense of wanderlust at all of the magic that surrounds you. Our wedding was intimate and serene. I felt like I was saying my vows in a secret garden in a fantasy movie, below the ivy and the skylight. They also made sure everything was just as we wanted and allowed us so much freedom to re-work the space to our needs. They even made sure the arbor was built in time and it perfectly matches the space. Emma, Sara, Hansen and Dennis were all so helpful and responsive with every question and last minute worry. Make sure to add on the clean up crew, it made the end of the night so easy knowing we didn’t need to sweep the floors & rearrange the furniture. In the future I would love to see them offer a 24hr package for weddings to make set up easier. We decided to book the night before too for our rehearsal dinner and it was so worth it. 100% would choose this space again if I had to do it over. Do not hesitate to experience this space & Somerset Bar (which they were kind enough to allow us to take our wedding photos at after the ceremony) first chance you get!
